Give her time, I'm sure she's young and probably scared of the noise the spring makes.

    That aint young.

You should have introduce them to that type of (play) work out at a very young (4 weeks) age.

Sounds like you've got a long road ahead on getting her to work the spring pole, She may not ever take to it...But it's not the end of the world, There are other ways to work her and get results.

if the noise is affecting her then you will have to get something else, or find something that has her focus a 100% and have a friend make the noise or her see another dog working it. You might have to add a lil bit of bacon grease on it, i'm sure that will make her forget the noise as she tries to eat that mofo lol

:happydance:swap the spring for some of the elasticated rope / bungee cord you can buy.

How do you all start pups on treadmills? I've never seen a mill in person and honestly I don't think my dogs, even if they started young like 4)6mo old, woulda ran one. biking and jennys are impossible for me to use nowadays and my dogs need work for mental health reasons.

Get something that they want and suspend it just out of reach, most time that works. A hide, milk jug, whatever does the trick.

A couple of other things that come to mind are consistency and be persistent.
