Please dont do it..a high drive pit will run right through it. They are no good for bulldogs.

Animals can get in....once the dog is out he might be scared to back in....people can come and steal your dog.

We had a alaskan malamute with a bark collar but it did no good so i doubt the fence will work on a bulldog

It's actually a BAD idea no matter which breed of dog you own. And here's why.

    1) the shock is not nearly strong enough to stop a determined dog from breaking the barrier. I was able to put it on its strongest level (holding the collar up against the most sensitive part of my inner arm) & walk right over the barrier. Of course it was uncomfortable, almost painful, but no deterrent.

    2) the batteries in the collar might die & you not realize it thereby not doing a darned thing to shock your dog into staying on your property.

    3) the dog might get the collar off (repetitive scratching, etc.) thereby it won't do a darned thing to shock your dog into staying on your property.

    4) the fence might keep some dogs in, but it does absolutely nothing against keeping other dogs out. Meaning a small pomeranian can wander onto your property & possibly get attacked by your dog. And guess who's at fault. You.

    5) the fence does absolutely nothing against keeping unwanted people from stepping into your yard, grabbing your dog, taking the collar off (if they even bother), & throwing him into the back of their car. Bye bye pit bull.

Even if your dogs are on a chain, unless you live in an extremely rural area, then you need a fence. A fence will keep other animals out & usually unwanted visitors as well.
