interesting!

I thought this was interesting, many of you probably have seen it before. I feel like an ass saying this being as I own a pit and am new to the breed, but there are 8 dogs there I thought could have been a APBT and are not.

HAHA! I got it on the first try when I first saw this, but if you aren't 100% sure of the APBT standard, it can be VERY tricky!

 

To make myself look like even more of an ass,lol, here are the ones I thought could have been pits. 3, 7, 13, 15 , 18, 22, 23, 24

 

I agree, for a newbie or the average joe,, it can be tricky for sure,, only something to back up the fact that many of the so called bad dogs are not even pits. I,m going to print that off and take it too work, will make alot of people think twice.

 

I got it wright, but it took a bit of investigation! I will defenitly print it out!

Too many breeds that resemble an APBT. :mad: See how confusing it can get?!!! Throughout the months, I've made copies of this very "test" and sent it out to MANY legislators. I wonder how many picked the correct dog...hmmmmmm...

I got the first time too, but I think that because I know all the other breeds helped too.
It is very confusing and makes a very good point. Now think how much more confusing it gets when these dogs are mixed with another breed. Most of the bully/mastiff type breeds shown are not too common, but that does not mean they are any less likely to be owned and handled irresponsibly.
