    It seems to me that older folks love pits because they used to be the "family" dog. so they don't listen to all the bs from the media. peopel that don't like pits usually are completely ignorant about any dogs...like they learned what they know about dogs from Disney cartoons...
    In any case I have had some very pleasant encounters with people when I had my Blue with me.
    I met a lady at the bank who has two (mixes probably, not pedigreed game dogs). Unfortunately she takes them to the "dog park" and lets them run off leash with other dogs. She is in for trouble...because she thinks her dogs "won't fight"...
    I am afraid she is in for a rude awakening some day..
