Hi, new here :)

i'm not from an English-speaking country and my English is not so great... so i'm sorry for all the mistakes i will make

i've adopted a rednose pitbull from a shelter in May 06. we rescued her 4 days before she would be euthanased. her previous owners had her just as a puppy-machine... she was never loved, she was abused and neglected... here are some pics from the day we went to visit her in a shelter:







she looked horrible... well after 4months she looks like this:








at the beginning, she didn't want to play... she didn't know how to play... she was not interested in balls, toys and that kind of stuff... but now... well... yu'll see:

she's a great dog, i love her so much... well that's it for now... just wanted to say Hi

 

Hello and Welcome! She's a pretty girl! Dont be afraid to ask anything, and you're English seems better than most of ours on here..

 

she is looking great what country are you from? Glad to hear what you did for great dog you got there.

 

she looks great...and im sure she enjoys her new life and new family a hell of alot more than her old one. i take it she is spayed now...thats great for you and her. give her all the love and attention you can, and im sure she will give it right back. rescues are hard. i still have one rescue on my yard, and i'll tell you what...teaching an older dog that its ok to love and play and not be affraid is a very tough job...but its worth it in the end. here's a picture of the dog i rescued, "Kane"

Iverson's Pits thanks... she will be spayed next month. she is in heat again after 4 months she went into heat in May 06, a week after i adopted her. after that she had a phantom pregnancy and than went into heat again after 4 months. the vets told me that it is better to wait that her hormones settle down and than we can spay her. and now we are waiting... but defenitly her career as a puppy machine is over. oh by the way...your Kane is gorgeous :cool: love his color

Thanks..his color is what most people point out about him. Now, if you could only get her some doggy-plastic-surgery for those nips! j/k

 

that will be taken care of too... her teets are so ruined that only a plastic surgeon can fix them. it is dangerous for her because her teets can get caught up in something while she is playing and running around. beside that she has some small tumors in there. it's better for her to go under the knife... believe me i'm scared to death of the operation, but she's a strong girl and i think she'll be allright

 

holy crap...i was just kidding...didn't know there was actually a nip-reducing surgery for dogs.....hmm...

She's beautiful, and I'm very happy you found us here, and I hope collectively, we will aid you in any help you may need for her future developement.

She is a very nice looking dog Also we had a rescue dog here that had really saggy nipples and when she went in for a spay the vet gave her a nice "tuck up" and that took care of it.

hello welcome to the site. Your dog looks good after your rescue. It looks like you take verry good care of her. I didn,t know they did a niple tuck. Well hope you get all the information you need dont be afraid to ask any questions. Oh by the whey your typing and english is alot better than mine. I live here in the usa aswell.
