yeah but people that dont know come on here and insted of helping them in a positive way by teaching them they get insulted people still get on here to learn and they get on here for a reason they havent forgotten the game dog.

 

I think it would be better to redirect those that don't know better as you say. When a thread gets opened or someone makes a post defending the mutts then they should be redirected by a mod and the post should be deleted. It's as simple as that but without conflict I guess this place would be dull. I'm not sure but I haven't gotten much response from the mods about my thread to solve the ongoing bluff issues.

 

yeah a little conficts is good but about the same issue it gets tireing after a while hearing the same thing over and over agin blue this blue that fat hippos you know what i mean.

 

Wish I knew my pups bloodlines, intersting stuff. I,m taking it he comes from staffy lines being only 9 months old and 75 pounds & getting bigger by the day. Little big for a True to standard pit aye,,lol. the fellow I got him from when he was only 3 weeks old told me he was a staffordshire pitbull, lol, Is why i,m thinking he,s a staffie, and i won,t be offended if someone tells me my dog is not an APBT, he probably isn,t..lol.

 

Although I have nothing against your pup I agree with miakoda on the fashion accessory part 100%.

Look at the pictures you posted from the show. People seem to always have either a) unnecessary ENORMOUS chains or b) huge spiked collars on the dogs.

I'm not against "dressing your dog up" here and there, but something makes me really think that a good majority of people with this breed are doing it for THEIR reputation or ego or w/e you want to call it, thinking it makes THEM look tough.

But, like Miakoda said, I hope they love them as well. As long as you love your dog, nobody can take that away from you and it shouldnt matter to you what your dog looks like if you truly love it.

Some people need to realize that getting a "pit bull" and making it look "mean and tough" is just not going to make their penis any bigger.

They'll probably just get laughed at by responsible owners that realize what they are doing and the reason why they own the breed.

PS: You have a cute pup. Treat him right, exercise him, socialize him, work him if you want, etc. everything will be good.

 

i see alot of people dislike this bloodline because they think it is lazy or no good or whatever but i think all depends on the dog because i have a OFRN, gator and carver pit and he is 75.5 pounds three years old and he is exercised alot but he is probably one of the most relaxed and lazy dogs i ve ever owned and then i also have a grapevine, sorrels, mims, woods. that is the most excitable active playful dog ive ever seen i think some of this is a matter of opinion although the bigger dogs do seem to be lazier but they take care business when it gets right down to it they still have the will but just arent as spastic 24/7 but if you like the dog be happy with it.

I strongly disagree. The bullys will be largely gone in 20 or so years time. Its a fad, like 'warlock" dobermans. The important thing, and what some folks are trying to do is to shepard the breed (Pitbulldogs) through a destructive fad phase so the breed dosen't become compleatly diluted like Dobermans have become. Its close to impossable now to find and American bred, working quality Doberman thanks to the crappy, fad breeding that happened back in the 70's.




I, and a lot of other folks don't want to see this happen with the Pitbulldog.

 

that is a good looking pit damn he in better shape then must humans but form what im understanding the bully breed is bread to be a small dog but larger in size like 70-100lbs to me even tho both dogs look diffrent its somting i like about them both the funny thing that one pic with the guy and his dog they really look like brothers another thing i notice was that and the convention must of the guys the owned those really large Bullies were huge weight lifter types so them and there dogs where well matched im big guy my self "Bigtwan " so my be the bully breed fits me alot better then the APBT maybe that is it im not sure kinda like ford and chevy its always going to be a argument

If thats the case then the greyline and RE dogs should be called warlock pitbulls, oh wait lets not go there with it that name sounds too hardcore they might market them as that and make a killing off of it because it sounds so bad ass. So could Gotti be considered the original warlock for the bully breed, because people claim that he was the originator.

Oh yea and in that piece of reading they say that the Dobe was mixed with Great Dane to make them bigger....Hmmm doesn't that sound familiar

 

Ok correct me if im wrong Bully are a cross between pit and staffy in which both dogs dome from the same orgin right? not like a dobby and a great dame which would really be cross breeding cus those are to diffrent breeds of dogs right ?? i would say that the bully is more closer to its orgin then what a warlock would be correct me if im wrong

 

Well thats an ongoing argument because nobody except for the originators really knows what was mixed to create the bully's. If u look at some of the bully's around they look nothing like an apbt or amstaff, they look more like a cross with an english bulldog. If u do a search on google for pure amstaff's that are bred for the show ring u will see that they don't look anything like the bully's for the most part, and we all know that true apbt's don't look like them so i find it hard to believe that they are created mixing the apbt and amstaff

i agree with you and disaree i dont know about them being gone cause in arizona i have seen razor edge pups or grayline pups going for 300 to 500 dollers and its not the kennels that is doing this is the people that buy them that in return breed them with another dog being a pitbull witch iam talking about byb and i dont know ia getting a felling that people that own bullies are going to start mixing game dogs into them and if its not alresdy happening its going to happen cause people do some crazy s*it and don get me the wrong way i'am not diffending the bullies at all i love game dogs iam just speaking on what might happen and if it dose that will be a totall disaster for the american game dog can some one get back to me on this and give me an opinion on this thanks.
