fed up with f**kin people's opinions..

i just gotta vent some of this shit. i live next to so many rejects that i'm ready to move,,except that they are all my wife's family,,,,,so i'm screwed either way. i got my full-grown female who hardly ever gets loose. she got through the defenses once last month,,but i had to hear from every relative on the damn block an all the redneck neighbors about how arfraid they are of my droolin dog. (she got off the run-line last week.)but they all know her, and know that she isn't aggressive. except in their minds,,,,,and then she's out for human blood everytime she's got her eye's open. she's never made an aggressive move towards a human,,except when she growled at my father-in-law when she had just had a litter. he's afraid of the breed, and shits his pants at the site of any of my dogs. won't even come in his own house if he knows my bitch is inside. and he's been around her countles times! then today i got the not so great idea to clean the kennels out...i end up with my two bitch pups runnin loose. of course they have to house visit every-damn-house on the block before i can catch up to them. i find them at my mother in laws sisters house. these dogs are 7 months old and goofy as hell at the moment,,,and he's got the door propped open shooting at them with a damn bb gun. then he yells to me to hurry and get them up, "they're dangerous." wtf??? is it me, or have they all just got themselves worked up into this anti-pit fever and it's contagious? i'm related to the fu**ers by marriage, so i gotta do somethin. i keep the dogs anchored down as best as possible. but you know how it is,,if there is a kink in your system,,they'll find it and get out in a heartbeat. and they (the pups) have twice. and they got off the run lines once, and dug a hole outta their kennel once. so do any of you have the same troubles??
sorry,, just looked up and realized my batteries goin out on the keyboard,,i'm not gonna correct though, i'm sure you can figure it out! lol

some people just have nothing in their lives so they have to create drama,sounds like the whole city of redneck white trash i live in!while were venting let me tell you i know how it feels to want to move,we just bought this house in november and allready im going crazy the people next door keep cutting their trees and letting these huge limbs fall in our backyard,they have some sort of junk yard or some shit and their all the time leaning car parts up against the fence which is really pissing me off.But the absolute worst thing is these idiots across the street have this rusty ass ,loud joe-dirt looking racecar thing they love to start up constantly even though it doesnt move. this thing is so loud its unbelievable it echoes for blocks around and they will be out there for hours with their friends just starting it a revving the engine.They also have an assload of mangy cats that run everywhere and get in my garbage at night,i even found one in my car when i left the window cracked one day!i would just keep a close eye on my dogs so they dont try to hurt them or something.I acctually miss living in the ghetto,at least the only noise there was the homeboys down the street bumping their music!

 

Some times I just say WTF,,You can't fix stupid , it's permanent..

BTW, That's why I REFUSE to live by family..Too much DRAMA....

 

Omg, I just had the same problem today...Tess is in heat, so we have her up in the barn, where no dog can get in or out, and it is on my boyfriend's Dad's property...We went to visit her, and we had Notch with us. My boyfriend's Brother was near the barn fixing something (he doesn't live there). His dog was nowhere insight. So, Notch was running around not bothering anyone. We decided to go into the house (we brought Notch inside with us) to talk to my b/f's Dad. When we were leaving, Notch ran ahead of us. We figured to get into the truck, but turns out my b/f brother Jeff's dog showed up, and Notch jumped on him. Now he knows and we know that Notch and his dog don't get along, plus they are both unfixed males, and there is a female in heat nearby. So, you think he would have come and said, "hey, Puff showed up, don't let Notch just run out."...but nope, so Notch jumps onto Puff, and Jeff hits Notch on the head, and Notch comes running to us. I guess Puff ran home. (Notch is not a "game" dog. He got attacked by two of the neighbor's dogs once, he had five bites on him. Those dogs had zero bites on them.) Jeff starts yelling at us telling us how we hate his dog, and we just got a pit (which Notch is an amstaff, but okay) to bully other dogs around, and how we never take responsibility for our dogs. Then he says, "and I don't let my son come over, because pit bulls are vicious." Now our dogs are always supervised. If we aren't outside, then they are inside with us. If we aren't home, they are out on their chains. His dogs run loose consistantly and show up on our property very often. Yet, he claims we don't take responsibility for our dogs. lol...I mean seriously, all the guy had to do was give us the head's up, and I would have put the leash on Notch to go to the truck...
The other thing that makes me mad. Our dogs have never even attempted to bite. I have almost been bitten by his dog, and his future son-in-law was bitten by his dog...Grr, people make me mad. I mean seriously, If I hated his dog, then I would take care of the dog myself. I wouldn't send my dog to do it.

 

I'm sorry to break this to you but living next to the in laws is never a good thing,,,won't work,,, a few years down the road you'll see,,, if they were exceptallly older it would be different but if there not,,,, i've been down that road and constantly know every move you make and pass judgment on you

Well what can you say? Families suck for the most part especially in laws.. I do have one quick question to add... how is it that someone mentions something about a yankee or just posts a picture of a "rebel" flag and the shit hits the fan about anti northern sentiment. But here it is severl posts about white trash, rednecks etc etc.. but no outcry for anti southern sentiment?

Either way... Best of luck with the in laws.. I'd suggest in investing in an axel chain set up they seem to work really well and maybe bump up the chain to some thicker chain and good heavy duty bullsnaps maybe that'll help out with keeping them contained.

Oh, you poor thing. It truly is a shame and just another battle us APBT owners have to deal with. It’s getting ridiculous! How dare they expect you to be responsible for your dogs, not like free roaming dogs have ever caused problems for anyone in the world? It’s not like that crap is the gate way to having BSL in an area. They probably never once made it perfectly clear they have fears and concerns about the breed to you. Really what do they expect…you to do something like clean a kennel with the dogs in it or properly contain them some place else while cleaning? Who could such a thing? Maybe even be responsible and keep them all up-all the time? How stupid is that? I’m so glad to hear you’re moving so you can spread your education and irresponsible ways around to other areas. What happened to the good ole days, when people could allow their dogs to run free, scare people, dig in the neighbor’s trash, kill stuff, and crap in the neighbors yard, running around breeding the local mutts and getting breed by god knows what?<O:p</O:p

It’s no wonder we hear such negative things about rednecks and in-laws. It’s obvious from your rant they’re a bunch of dullards. They’re clearly missing some brains cells! Aren’t they aware that you have pet-bulls and should be grateful that they even get the luxurious of viewing them roam freely? I’m just glad to hear you’re so wise and have a plan to get out of there. From the sounds of it their elevators don’t reach the top floor. Next they’ll be telling you to bath your kid more than once a month, change their diaper semi-regularly.
