the pound policies....

In my town the policy of our pound is if its a pit bull its mean and kills them. No chance of adoption. I'm a college student. In one of my classes we are put into a group and have to find a policy that we want to change. I suggested to do the pound a pit bull. I chose this because i love the dogs. I have already been getting signatures in town that I'm hoping to present to the pounds board and to the city to hopefully change there policy. The reason I'm writing this thread is asking for anyones help on here. if they have videos, facts or anything that might help.... please let me know....

I know this is not going to be a popular opinion but I think Pit bulls in shelters should be euthanized unless sent to a reputable 501c3 group. Too many jackasses around nowadays. I don't think any pound with a first come first serve policy should be adopting out pit bulls, or most other dogs for that matter JMO.

 

i was just out there a week ago and they had a around 4 to 8 month apbt out there and wasnt able to be adopted. i tried. hell i tried to lie my ass off and told someone else it was my dog. they said too bad.... i know i dont need anymore dogs i have 4 dogs in a 3 bedroom house with a yard but i didnt want it to die just because its a pit bull....
