With all due respect, and I'm sorry that my post is off topic but if you breed just to "make money" you shouldn't be breeding, period. Either breed to better/preserve the breed, or don't breed. A reputable/responsible breeder doesn't breed only to make money.

  2. what about the tnt bloodline? what do you think of it ? yes i guess ukc made also

Im glad someone asked this question...:D
I have TNT dogs. When I did my 1st breeding with my female I bred her to the BEST TNT dog I found. Yes they are both BLUE, but by no means did I breed for color.... The male I found was started at shows as a pup and was doing Very well. I wanted the best of that males conformation, fire, & temperament along with the line name, to breed to my female that was by far the most athletic, intelligent, loving pitbull I have ever owned (papered or not) These were the things I looked for and found. Now the pups all came out Blue but all very good dogs for the purpose of conformation, athleticism, intelligence, & loving which is what I was looking for in the 1st place. I will start to mix some other stuff back into my dogs but only with the same attributes... Now does this make me a fad breeder and am I too breeding just for blue, or just to make some money... NO... MHO... My female had a litter of 6 & i only sold 1 out of that litter & gave away 1, but kept the ones that were showing what i was looking for...I bred and only breed (in future) for the ADBA standard APBT. Weve been to a few shows and have been looked at well by many people at the shows, but also looked at bad cause peoples 1st questions are "Is (s)he Razors Edge?????
I know there has been allot of comments and disagreements with the TNT line, but it's also getting a bad rap just cause we have blue dogs and people ASSume they are bullies... Please give me your opinions, whether good or bad...lol... I have thick skin and have assuredly heard it all before...LMAO...:D

Please forgive me if someone has already stated this, so here goes,

The reason when someone mentions a "blue Pit bull" most here say they are not true to form apbt's is because most people who breed blue pitbulls are breeding for a look that is not what pitbulls looked like 30 + years ago. The second reason is that most who are breeding blue pitbulls are breeding for the color, which again is not a qualification for the breed standard.
A pitbull should be bred first and formost for its heart. Could you imagine going to purchase a doberman and it looked likea Rott? Now, I am one of the few who will openly state that just because a dog is blue doesnt make it a mutt. Actually a few years ago spent some money on a couple of blue dogs to have first hand experience of what they were like. I do not like to be a person with "contempt prior to investigation". Now, the ones that I have do not look like what you'll find on many of the bully kennel pages, if they did, I simply would not have paid money for. I did however, go specifically looking for a couple with the "Gotti" bloodline. If you do a search on here for some of the posts I made a couple years back, you'll find more detail on the above "experiment". Now, although I did not go to two different sides of the country, and the two that I got are kin to one another, never the less, what I ended up with surprised me. Maybe I'll go and take a photo of one and post here later to show you. Now, because I have two blue dogs here, people will call or come by looking for a "blue pitbull", but I tell them all that I dont breed for color, but for heart.

Anytime you breed for color first, and heart, ect. are secondary in your breeding program, you are down breeding the greatest dog in the world! That goes for whatever color you are breeding for, not just blue. If a person is looking for an english bulldog, go and get one, dont try and make our dogs look like one. It is pure foolishness.
On the same token, there is no way that I would breed one of the blue dogs here to one of my Eli dogs, not because the dogs are not good, but because I would rather breed my nigerino and skull dogs to the same. Something inside of me will not allow me to mix the two lines.
Also, many of the blue dogs you see ARE mixed with something else. I have heard it from several of the breeders mouths that THEY bred the bulldogs with something else to make the dogs, not blue, but bigger.
And then... most people who have a real love for the dogs and the heritage of them are sick of people downbreeding this breed, hanging papers, and usinating on the greatest dog in the world!!
Also, many of the dogs they will mix to get the dogs "bigger" are human aggessive dogs by nature. So now we are having these high profile "rare" dogs Who did not have a human aggressive gene in them, now seeing humans as acceptable targets.

    Hope this helps.

PP you hit the nail on the head with what you wrote here, that's the biggest problem with this breed today, you never heard of a game bred dog attacking a human back in the day
