De La Hoya Vs Manny Pacquiao

Any Boxing fans out there? :confused: I know we had a Few UFC fans from the last fight.

......Fights is 3 days away....So who do you think will win and why?

 

for 55 dollars and a usually long and boring fight, i could care less.

 

I won't be able to see it, since, I am cheap and don't like pay that much to watch something on tv.

I am not sure who is going to win, but I am sure it will be a good one.

I'd like to see De La Hoya win. No real reason to it. lol.

 

I like combat in any form. Heck, I once stopped the car to watch two roaches fight it out over a piece of brownie....winner? The pigeon who landed, ate two roaches and a piece of brownie....a la WWE....lmao.

I am Hispanic but hope Manny lumps Oscarito up! I hate bullies and that is exactly what Oscar is (with this fight). OK, Oscar wanted to fight at 147lbs...that is fine but why not against other natural 147lbs? Margarito, Paul Williams, Cintron, etc are all there for him. Oh no, he does not want that! He chose a man (Manny) who recently went up to 135 and now goes up another 12 pounds to fight Oscar?

Let me bring you guys into my brain:

Manny started his professional boxing career at 112lbs (flyweight).
Manny jumped up to 118lbs in December 1999.
In June 2001, Manny went up to 122lbs.
In November 2003, Manny went up to 126lbs to face Marco Antonio Barrera and Juan Manuel Marquez.
In March 2005, Manny went up to 130lbs to face Erik Morrales.

From here up until October 2007, Pacquiao has fought at 130lbs but never came in at that weight (128.50, 129.50, 129, 128.75).

On June 28, 2008, Manny fought for the first time in the 135lbs class. He came in at 134.50lbs. Now he will go up another 12 pounds to face Oscar.

Oscar de la Hoya started his boxing career at 130lbs and has not fought at or below 147lbs since June of 2000.

That is why I want Manny Pacquiao to beat his ass.

Ya its pretty expensive, but lucky enough im going over a buddies house for a BBQ and we are all pitching in $5 bucks....so it's not all that bad.

i hate oscar de la hoya and i will call tko for oscar by way of left hook and jab. he will whip manny with one arm. i don't even know why manny signed for this fight. actually i do... money and that's worth more than a loss in his books i guess.
did anyone see calzaghe whip roy's ass three weeks ago? i am definitely a roy boy too. man that was the nail that closed the coffin for roy.
bhop dominated pavlik too. whoooweee. i want to look that good at 41 yrs old. he beat pavlik like a father beats a son who didn't take out the trash in time.

Boom shakalaka! The dog makes me the money. DeLahoya started out @ -200 and it kept falling all the way to fight time. I took Pac +150 and am smiling ear to ear!

De la hoya got spanked!!! I mean i was waiting for de la hoya to do SOMETHING, but pacquiao kept catching him with the straight left hand. The only time it seemed as if oscar had a chance was when he back pacquiao into the corner or along the ropes, but even then pacquiao moved to the sides and used his speed and ring movement to his advantage.

All in all the undercards sucked aswell :mad: every fight including the main fight seemed like a mis match. :confused:

 

hatton is next! then maybe mayweather.

Dman missed it but I was gonna say Manny will spank him all the way to the floor.Oscar has had his day but Manny still has some left in the tank.

 

should be proud too.....your man went against a naturaly heavier man, and used this to his advantage...
