Dogs-bite.org personally attacks me and stop-bsl.

I love my Sea Kittens with lettuce and mayo on a bun . Speaking of, I think it's funny how they like to sling things. We can't support people we know are in the the right and the law has proven them so, but they can support groups of convicted arsonists and the supporters of domestic terrorism. Double standards, ahoy! So, Stop BSL, you up for debunking their "myths" section with me?

 

I think there is something seriously wrong with this sort of obsessive, hateful behavior- on both sides of the fence. I appreciate someone being for a cause, even if their beliefs don't necessarily meld with my own. But I find these extremist groups disturbing. And I find some of our behavior just as unpleasant.

We've obviously given these fools fuel for their fire. So perhaps conducting ourselves with more finesse in the future will help extinguish much of the shit that they spread.

We've all seen the support that a fancy website can muster for a "just" cause. I, for one, would be quite interested in creating a (truthful, fair, and sane) counterpart to Dogs-Bite.Org.

 

They have a myths section? I have very little patience with looking at what is and is not on that site.

I am sure it would be easily debunked.

What kind of stuff is on it?

 

I don't know whether to shake my head or laugh at it....

The Pit Bull community is 99 percent dog fighters. Even the AKC Staffie breeders who claim high status have some pretty strange connections, that would shock many if they saw the light of day.

There is no "responsible" community of pit bull breeders.
Pit bulls were created and bred for hundreds of years to be aggressive, strong, high prey drive, and inflict maximum damage.

You can't breed that "out" of the dogs. These things are an integral part of their breed type.

And the audience that is attracted to pit bulls is the lowest of the low. Most people can't handle them. They are not family dogs, and other working breeds fill all the working needs.

No "responsible" person is breeding pit bulls. Selfish, removed from reality, yes. Responsible, no.

 

They got some serious clueless no-life morons posting there. 99% huh ? Where the hell do they pull these numbers from ?

Its really not worth reading thier propaganda....they have no facts and are speaking straight out of thier asses. They should do something more constructive with thier anger....maybe set out to eliminate pedophiles or put an end to the homeless or something more cause worthy.

I was at my job the other day snuggling a Rottie and an Amstaff (and by petting, I mean I was petting them while getting my face slobbered on at supersonic speeds) and this lady walks in the door and gasps, telling me that those dogs were inherently vicious animals and should all be put down. In front of thier owner :rolleyes:
So I calmed the owner down and we pulled the lady aside sat her down and we had a nice talk and guess where she got this "info" from? Yeh-huh. But I had a nice talk with her and explained what was what and she found the guy and apologized. Heck, she even patted both dogs

 

Wow. . .

they are crazier and have more time on their hands than I thought. They should really join PETA, this is right up there with "Save the Sea Kittens!"
