Why talk about any other dogs other then gamedogs on this site???

 

Arn't there plenty of forums online, made just for bullies? I see them on myspace advertisments all the time. I usually will see the ad followed by some ridiculous looking, over exadurated looking, breathing heavily, dog that when I see it I almost throw up in my mouth. :rolleyes:

 

I think any thread about bullys should be closed till they get the hint. the need to be talked about on 4H fourm not here. I cant stand them dogs!!!!!!!

 

While I agree with ben on that post, we all like what we like... People have the right to breed what they see fit regardless if we like it or not and I hope it stays that way!

Only thing I can do and the only thing I should do is worry about what I do and not what joe blow does... His dogs do not effect my program at the least... As long as I keep my line true... I don't care... And shouldn't... And to feel any other way in Un American! I don't like it but hell A LOT of people don't like what I do.... Like it or not bullie people can do somethings that we game dog fanciers can't... FAXXX like it or not...

I just dont understand what do bullys have to do with GD's. it's contradicting to the site name GDF. not all breed fourm they have many sites we have 1 or 2 thats just how i feel

 

Regardless, BB, this is a PUBLIC forum and we need to be welcoming and educating to all newcomers. You are starting trouble here where trouble doesn't need to be started. Bobby is warning you, as a moderator, you need to heed that warning.

 

I understand and agree with you on that subject... i do.. but we shouldn't bash them either... we don't bash patterdales, tosa's, English bull dogs, GSD, Carry Dogs, Dogos, or any other breed but the bullies...... i don't like em... but all the negitivity is unneeded on this site...

 

Agreed. A lot of these AmBully owners simply do not know any better. I have met many who honestly believe they own American Pit Bull Terriers.

Personally, I think leaving the threads open gives you guys an opportunity to make the distinction, educate a few people, and I think the end result will be a better understanding of BOTH breeds.

 

I personally come from the Am Bully world, and through frustration and finally having had enough with trying to educate every joe blow AmBully breeder, as well as being fed up with the ABKC, I came here to learn more about true APBT's. I've been impressed with everyone on this site, and while I can understand the animosity toward the AmBully..I do wish there were more AmBully breeders out there like the OP of this thread.

Having been to both sides of the tracks, I see positive things in both breeds AND the HUGE differences. While you have an AmBully that may be able to walk or run 2 miles a day and be okay, that is only good by AmBully standard. That would be a cake walk for APBT's. AmBullies are great for city living because they are more easily maintained and managed in a city environment. The sad part is now more than ever the AmBully standard (which was fairly broad and vague to begin with) is now opening it's doors to even looser guidelines. So with that, I had to just walk away. Lots of time and effort wasted, but there are bigger fish to fry. To those of you who stick with it in that world and hope to build something quality, I commend you. That is going to be one huge, long uphill battle.

I despise them as well but your post is right ( I guess I wasn't really thinking of it that way) it would be un-american to not allow them people who enjoy Bullies to not be allowed to participate in
G-D. Like many things in this country, I don't like it but must tolerate it for the simple fact this is america and this is still a free country (or so they say) you can choose to breed, own, show what have you, whatever kind of a dog you choose, just don't acpect everyone to enjoy the same things you like. (Not B-Roost directly, just everyone as a whole, thats with dogs or life in general.) I don't agree with bullies (lol) on G-D either however this site is open to the general public, so BB you and I have to tolerate it. think of it this way, it's fun to debate with the people who own Bully dogs and question them, as to their motives on why would someone try do change something that didn't needed changed. It could be a good debate in the Pit.

 

I bought an Am Bullie about 3 yrs ago but i gave her right back cause she had that eyelid disease i forget what they call it, but i couldnt spend another 600$ on the surgery so i returned her told them they can use the money i spent on her to get the surgery done. Dont know if they did or not i hope they did.

Nice dogs i got a hundred percent razors female who is mostly old school razors,not an ounce of fat on her.The homie who breeds them knows dave wilson,so just staff if anything,i hate these knew razor edge dogs with half bulldog or the bigger ones mixed with neos.man i want a game dog.comin soon

 

Like Rooster said it is a public forum and also noone has to see pics of bullies or read anything about them atleast not in this thread. It is clearly labled AmBullies just don't click on it. Problem Solved.

 

I just started reading this thread and felt I had to respond to this ignorant, statement. Soga was the SHIT!!! A face-eating monster. I'm sorry SHE isn't all torn up for you, but sometimes when you touch the honesties to much! And as for the blood? You don't have a clue. Deeply game dogs are a rareity. Blue color coming from Gamebred dogs is also a rareity. So finding 1 that fits both bills... You get the picture? And I know you're not going to call into question the level of comp. If you knew you would know. BTW This little statement is concerning a long ago time when things where very different in this country.

 

I've been reading this and I can see a couple different viewpoints,I guess it is a public forum and to a degree we're allowed to talk about whatever we want[as long as the mods allow it]and people all like different things.Just because I hate bullies don't mean everyone does.But I also see where these bully people come on here trying to force feed us their ideas about dogs too,always trying to say they're as good as the real deal.If they really truly feel that way,where were these dogs before 1976?But the point is of all the forums in the world why bring bully discussion after bully discussion to Game-Dog.com.How many of us are members of the Am-Bully forums.They'd probaly get pretty sick and tired of some of us going to their forums and telling them what a bunch of curr bred biscuit eaters they're feeding.If they choose to come here they shouldn't get all upset if someone don't like their dog.It's just two groups of people that probaly never will see eye to eye but if we are going to tolerate them,they probaly should try and tolerate us too.
