AGK, Nice pups good luck. Wardog I have not been so lucky, And I don't believe you will be either with that belle pup. She will start hurting Arturo without regret well before she is 2 and then its on, and running together after that is very risky. I hope you have better luck than I have had. But that is my experience with well bred dogs

Well bred dogs can run together with close supervision and I mean close. Some gamedogs can be very easygoing when not going thru the hunting routine. Earl Tudor was said to be able to feed champs out of the same dish. Not a practice for novices or one I will trying anytime soon!

That is pretty neat!!!, my older ones tended not to bother with the young pups, but the dish and the entering of the houses of an older dog tby a 3-4 months old pup and that stopped quicK:eek:, few close ones.

if there good for a second, thank you lucky stars!!!! lol but TURN YOUR BACK! buck shot was almost lost cause i turned for half a second to pic up the shovel, Boris on the chain , Buck-shot under foot, out of reach of chain, buck-shot tried to get in Boris's dog house and Boris grabbed and TREW HIM(by mouth) out of the dog house door way, grabbed his head and was about to chomp and I YELLED BLUE MURDER AT THE SON OF A BITCH (FROZE B SOLID! DROPPED BUCKS SHOT) and all Buck-shot got away with was a scare down between the eyes! But alive , were fine together don't last long!!

they seem to need that reminder your the Leader the Alpha. The Rule maker (no puppy eating, the female Jane tender to care for the pups seeing as she was raised close to them. she would tolerate the pups sneaking the feed from her dish on the chain spot, but like Boris that dog house door is off limits for sharing for Jane too. but thats to be expected thats Their SPOT.

I been around the dogs for 20 years. This is not the first time I've had dogs around eachother in the house. I've had a Ch. and and a 1xgl in the house together when they were full grown. They never needed to be seperated.

I have rasied game bred dogs together (together meaning inside my home) for years with only a handfull of incidents (mostly having to do with either something they view as a compitition item such as a toy or food) . If you start them from a puppy and make it be known you tolerate no bullshit between them, they learn to accept each other (some, of course do not) While they may accept each other, they still do not accept other dogs. Mind you I am talking about opposite sexed dogs here, if your going to try Male/Male or Female/Female forget about it. Regardless of how a dog is bred, and even though they are bred to do what they do, they are still a pack animal and will follow a pack mentality if raised to do so, they will establish a pecking order, and while they will test it regularly, most will follow the order.. Some will abide by the pack laws I set fourth for them, others refuse to be a member of the pack, it's really touch and go with this, but like I said, I have done it without many incidents for a long time.

yea when i was younger i lost a male by stupidity and inexperience left them alone unsupervised in the laundry room at 10 months they were brothers scatterbred not very well bred mind u but i came home to a bloody mess and a dead dog and it was all due to my stupidity and lack of knowledge in the breed at the time

Don't get it twisted, they arn't left out together when we aren't here to suppervise them. If we leave they all go on a chain, with the exception of one of my bitches. They're smart dogs, more times than not they know when it's time to work and they know when it's time to just be a dog....;)

Nothing is cut in stone with these dogs. Some dogs will get along with others some wont. I tend to like the less "fight crazy" dogs. I think they are smarter. That is just me though.
