steroids in thoroughbred animals are used to help the animal finish the feed part of the keep towards the end of the physical part of the keep. if any of you knuckleheads bitchin about roids had ever put a animal through any kind of keep youd understand what im talkin about.

Yeah what you describe is a jenny, where the dog is one one side and an animals in a cage on the other. The animal stays safe in it's little cage, it is still used today.
