"Brown" is a very generic description that is sometimes used to describe all of the above. Buckskin to me is a very light tan, that has a slight gray tint to it. Creamy colored dogs without the gray are "yellow"(some are very brilliantly colored), but some people use "yellow" to describe very light red. I would call Gr Ch Haunch "lt red", Ch Monster "yellow"; I can't think of what I would call a well-known buckskin at the moment...

I always thought buck skin were your dogs like honeybunch, jeep,

your red dogs would be like andy capp, michanic

and drown well i think I will have to find a dog that represents brown well

Buckskin - when the base of the hair is fawn and the tips are black.
Brown - this is variable according to how the person viewing it sees it. As stated some are very light as in "yellow" and others darker.

Doesn't the ADBA site have a really good color chart of different acceptable colors?

Well, I suppose so - Bo and Snake, too; some might call Honeybunch more of a yellow, and some Jeep dogs are more of a lt red than buckskin to me, but it's kind of a matter of opinion when you're splitting hairs that closely. Then you have dogs with ticking, which is sometimes called "dirty buckskin".

    Yes, here: http://www.adbadog.com/p_gallary.asp?aid=5

although it doesn't include "yellow" and most bulldog people don't seem to use "fawn".

Bluie is when the dog is one color, but has gray("blue") tones in it. You see quite a few tan(fawn) colored dogs that have blue highlights, especially on the face and down the back. (Sort of the effect of a chameleon paint job, if you know what that is)

You definitely see it more now with all of the bully peddlers breeding for color. I think I have seen at least one real bulldog that was that color though.
