alergic reactions

any 1 els had a dog come up in lumps& bumps when air fresheners are yoused in house 1 of mine did a shat it when it first happend lol..

 

Aye, had a bitch that had an allergic reaction to "something" whilst out one day. They look like elephant man lol give an antihistamine and it soon goes down.

 

my dog got stung by a bee and the dogs heed swelt up like a football not quite an airfreshner

 

had a bitch stung by wasp years ago....no swelling or feck all.....:cool:

 

thats weird it could be something in the bee that caused it or the dog must have a alergic reaction with them the dog was never stung by a wasp?. most dogs i have had have ben affected by goarsebush but its prob just the type of coat the dogs have.al haveto try demims lol

 

yes, if i use carpet powder one of my dogs gets bumps and gets pink feet. obviously i don't use the powder anymore.

also, if the same dog goes out in tall grass he gets covered with bumps. he was so bad this past spring that even antihistamines didn't touch it, had to go get a steroid injection. :mad:

but my dog is allergic to everything so... eh.

 

A friend bought a pit last year, took it in to the vet at 12weeks for its shots(against my recommendation). 4days latter dog died from an apparent alergic reaction. Its sad they pump these dogs full of meds/vaccination without even doing an alergy test.

 

that shit is not good.had a bitch once,about 4 year old when i got it.wasnt sure if it had its jabs so went to take bitch to vets,gave her the jab and it too almost killed the dog.she was on an IV for few days and could barely walk.luckily the bitch survived.Got a pup once which died of suspected parvo.it was too little to be given any treatment and had to be put down.i was gutted!
