The larger apbt would more than likely kill the smaller one if no one intervened. That's not saying the larger one was a better dog. Just a larger dog. Larger apbt are not "frowned upon". It is just easier to handle the smaller ones. When you say "frowned upon", you are more than likely picturing some Bully Bull-Jive fat dog. I'm speaking of large game-bred dogs of which there is no shortage and there never has been. Most of the "Dibo" bred dogs from many years ago ran on the large side. Averaging 50-75 lbs. Why all the sudden curiosity in contesting "odd-ball" dogs against apbt??? Matches were and are conducted(Whereever legal) strictly pound-for-pound. Very few would even give up a pound or two. As it makes a big difference when dealing with conditioned athletes.

you gotta remember this is all new to me, i just have a lot of questions. I just see everyone here wants a small pit so i figured its better than a 65lb pit game for game. guess i was wrong.

High 30's max...I am small so I like a dog small enough for me to be able to pick up and carry. :D My current pup is already too big for that unfortunately.

I had had a 31 lb at my house once; it was wonderful to be able to pick this little APBT up without killing myself.

  5. I prefer whatever size the comp has as it does us no good to feed dogs we can't use. Here that means 35-45 lbs. / 15-20 kg.

how rare is that? is it common for smaller pits to take out larger pits? im talking both from good lines. or would the larger one always have the advantage.

its not common but it can be done...ex. how many times have u seen a fight when u were in school, bar, club etc. where a little guy would beat the crap out of the big bad guy?...lol....it dont happen everyday but it can happen and when it does the little guy always punishes the big guy HARD!!!...lol

Lmao. It makes perfect sense, the only reason I wondered is cause people here love the small pita so I figuered there must be something special to them. I figuered the larger ones might not have good win or something hell if I know. I think my little pup will turn out to be on the larger side more like 65lbs. He's not a bully though so it's straight, his dad was perfect standard just larger.
