honestly is that calijack book really that good? or are these fanboi opinions? ive had first hand experience talking to this guy over the internet and he seemed like a douche, but i guess that doesnt take away his writing ability or the information he has, which brings me to my next question: is there anything new or groundbreaking in his book that isnt available in others?

there is nothing new, or groundbreaking. IMO its not even well written. however, what it does do is a) save you money doing certain things (which most know about) and b) has tons of great info covering areas such as housing, yard setups, feed, general maintenance, and simple remedies and keeps - all in one book.:dogstare:

I have read all of Stratton's books, good books (even his Rottweiler book). I have Colby's book really good as well, Carl Semenic books, are not so good. Ed's book is by far the best I have read. And on that note has anybody looked up one of these books on Amazon lately? 200-400$. Looks like Im sitting on a few bills, especially since mine is signed;). Diane Jessup's books is crappy IMHO. Oh and just for interest sake I gave my bro a cool photo book titled "American Pitbull" by Marc Joseph, its got a lot of really cool high quailty pics, he interviews a lot of owners around the nation.
