My first litter was born yesterday (3/15/10). We had 9 pups total, 5m/4f. Mom and pups are doing great. We were expecting 8. Here they are.

WOW! Beautiful colors and markings on those pups. Do you have a pedigree?

UltimateK9, make sure don't send any pups to Ms. Briarpatch. She is known to have starved a pup almost to death recently. Just ask juckingferk about it.

Here's a link to the sister site showing what she did to the puppy:

Be careful who you trust with a pup! - General Dog Discussions

She had the puppy from about 2 months of age to 5 months, and its weight went from 14.5 lbs to 14 lbs. The litter mates weigh around double. Sorry to post off topic, but it's important to make sure this psycho doesn't get another puppy.

She did. She starved one of Ferk's pups. Went to her at 14.5lbs in January and arrived at a friend of Ferk's at 14lbs even.

Both parents are beautiful, but the mom looks absolutely fabulous for being an AmStaff! She is probably the best AST I have ever seen & goes to show what an AST can really look like if you put some work into them & don't let them get sloppy fat!

Beautiful dogs & good luck with those pups! :dogtongue:

    Blessings ...

Great looking pups. I am glad none of them turned out solid white :) How is Hennessy doing? Didn't he have a surgery recently?

I didn't expect any whites, since Amira's parents are colored like Hennessy, I figured the red and black mask would dominate. I am very happy with the litter thus far. However, I can't wait to see how they turn out.

Hennessy is doing great and fully recovered. We almost lost him, back in February, to two bowel obstructions that required emergency surgery. Thanks for asking.
