I dont think brock really likes fighting. He fights like he is scared. Carwin is big enough to deal with Brock's size. I think Carwin will win and Brock taps to strikes like the cur he really is.

Carwins wrestling credentials are good enough to stay off his back, two giant wrestlers but one hits like a Mack Truck. Lesner is very one dimensional and finally fighting someone the same size, he will have trouble taking Carwin down

    Carwin by all around athleticism

and UFC needs a 230lb division, to many 230lbers fighting these 265 lb monsters that cut to 265. Carwin/Lenser both probably weight near 280 at fight time

MinorThreat hit it on the head.

Carwin's stand up is much better than Lestners. Now his wrestling's just as good. Which can be attributed to his training camp with Greg Jackson. He has a solid team behind him which has been the key component to his consistency.

Carwin by TKO in the 1st

I believe Carwin needs to go with a good take down defense, he gots that and he can take Brock, I dont think brock can take Carwins jab. Next Cain will take the title.

Carwin is the better puncher. I think Carwin knocks Brock's block off.

Carwins wrestling credentials are no where near Brocks. Carwin was a Division 2 stand out but Brock was one of the all time Division 1 greats. Also Despite them both making the 265 limit Brock is a lot larger than Carwin. Also if you've followed Carwin during his time in the UFC you'll note that he's not as big as advertised. If he ever had to cut to make 265 he really doesn't now. Brock comes down from 300. Brock has verified by fight night he weighs about 280 to 290. Shane will still only be 265. And a lot shorter than Brock who will have him monstered in terms of reach as well.

In terms of overall athleticism I would have to disagree. Brock has a verified 40 year dash time that on average is close to what NFL running backs can do. He also if I'm not mistaken has a ridculous vertical leap. He's one of the best athletes in mma period. Carwin is a specimen but not the overall athlete Brock is.

You are absolutely correct in saying the heavy weight division needs to be broken up. I've thought that for both mma and boxing for years now. The trouble being there simply isn't enough talent to move the guys at say 250lbs and below and have enough talent to still have a competitive division for the guys who weigh more.

Carwin has a punchers chance but really I think Brock takes this fairly easy. Ring Rust will be more a factor than Carwin's power.

Not the best of pics but the scale is about right. Brock is wearing shoes of course but as we can assume he's wearing men's shoes it's save to say Carwin ain't anywhere near as tall or as big as Brock.

The next pic are both Carwin and Mir and then Brock and Mir. Mir put on some muscle when he fought Carwin I believe he was about 250-255 regardless you can see that Carwin and Mir are close in size with Mir actually being taller than Carwin. Over the last couple of months the UFC has actually lowered Carwins listed height on their website. A lot has been made about Carwin's fake stats and the UFC eventually changed it.

I didnt say his wrestling credentials were equal, I said good enough to stay off his back.

how do you think Lesner wins, easy? Lesners only hope is taking him down and I see him getting tired after a few shots and he's not going to get him down with Greco either I dont think. Lesner has no chance punching with him

will be interesting to see who's physically stronger

    2 monsters, lol

theirs a good video of Couture training at Lesners

But why would this be the fight that Lesnar get's tired after a few shots? He's gone three rounds Heath Herring and not gassed. Why would he gas against a guy who doesn't push the pace? He got winded early against Couture who does push the pace but recovered very quickly. Carwin is the one whose never been out of the first. I suspect he has a gas tank but he's the one whose tank could be questioned.

Also Carwin has pretty much never applied his wrestling in the cage.

It's mma it's been proven time and time again that anyone can be put on their back. Yes take down defense is really important and can make or break a fight but if Brock is looking to take a guy down that's going to happen. It's all about can Carwin get back up. It's all about will his power fade after he's been put on his ass a few times.

Again he has a punchers chance and the Randy Couture fight made me question Brocks chin just a little but the truth is if you look across every organization in MMA can you find one Champion who has a title whose skill set is "punchers chance"?

We'll see, I'm looking forward to it.

    Nice vid.
