when it comes to submissions you really cant compare it to being "game" if brock hadnt have tapped to mirs knee-bar he would have been in re-hab for at least 6months - and outta proper training for another 6months.... for a pro athlete thats the worst situation to be in..... however im a firm believer in "nap b4 tap" in a fight situation..........

im going for brock this time round - if he gets going with his g'n'p no ammount of conditioning is gonna save you!!

 

Brock isnt on the same level as alot of the fighters he beat. He's just too big. If he would've been a lighter man Randy would've tore his ass to pieces. Carwin had him out and woke his big ass back up with more punches and the ref "never saw it"..Cain will punish this man if he fights smart. Not to take anything from Brock as size is his born advantage but Cain is a much better boxer and i see Brock gettin put to sleep if Cain's Slick enough to use his skills right.

they will wigh in that friday the 22 brock has to come in at 265 thats the max and the fight is on sat the 23 cain will probly come in at 245

 

I don't think that's close enough to fight time,some fighters can throw on close to 20lbs in that time (brock being one of them).I think they should have to make weight and step into the octagon.

The only way Brock wins this fight is if he can get Cain fully mounted and pound him out. Cains stand up is at a much higher level and I'm sure Brock knows this. The wrestling may end up canceling each other other out. Cardio will be the deciding factor if it doesn't end early on the feet.
I just hope to see a good card. This card will win over a lot of people who wouldn't normally watch the sport.
We can'y sleep on the UFC debut of Jake Shields that night either. Shields's one of the worlds best at that weight class. And if he wins he'll get GSP.

 

Brocks weakness is submission fighting. Hence why his only lost was by submission. He will probably beat Cain. He's too big and fast plus can take a punch. Against Fedor, will that's a different story. Fedor has 30 wins and 15 are by submission and he hits hard.

Fedor vs. Lesner would be fight of the decade. Only Manny Vs. Floyd would be bigger, if that ever happens.

 

NO ONE gets to the level of performance all these guys are...Lesnar, Carwin, Courture, Mir, etc by being a "one hit wonder" or a "thing of the past."

All of these guys are consistent top contenders. I wasn't a Mir fan, but he too is still a great fighter (although I think the others are better).

I think Lesnar will win in the 1st or 2nd round.

 

If the fight goes beyond the 3rd round and Cain goes Machida style on Brock, Cain has this!
