NO high horse here guys , just someone who takes good care of his dogs, and if you think not being able to look after your dogs is good , no wonder our breed is in a big hole right now , all im saying is if you cant do it right ,then dont it at all .

 

Gar i gwt what u mean but WTF does not wanting to spend 100 on a book have to anything with caring for his stock??? Just call it a night and tommorow u will see how stupid it sounded lol.

Hi deadgam , well im glad you understand what im trying to say , but im not saying that this guy cant look after his dogs , its just that i see more and more people wanting to save a $ when if they get the better quality in most all things it will actually save them money in the end , and like i said , if you cant afford to do it right ,then dont do it at all.

 

I do get what you are saying Gar but think about the sterotyping you did in your post.Made you sound just like the media.The guy is only tryin' to save some cash.Wtf is wrong with that?Have you never tried to save some cash regarding the dogs?And I don't think I would dream of owning the dogs you own.I have had and been around some good dogs so get back on your horse and ride on!

 

Not saying he cant look after his dogs , but its just that everywhere i look i see people looking to save a $ when if they spend a bit more and get the better quality ,be it feed /kennels/whelping boxes /chain and swivels/ etc etc they will actually save money , and there yard wont look like a piece of shit .I mean when i see a post saying "i dont buy a brand of feed cos its expensive , so i buy the cheap stuff cos i got 30 dogs and i cant afford to buy the good stuff " well then if that man cant afford to keep 30 dogs in the right way , he should only keep what he can afford to pay for .Tell me guys ,if you had to pay for another mans yard feed bill ,cos he wants more dogs than he can afford , would you like the government to take that out of your taxes , or would you say" hell no he shouldnt keep so many dogs if he cant afford them" .My feeling is the same , so only keep the right way , and starting with the feed a person uses , it should be the best they can afford ,and to me that means if you can only afford to feed one dog the best ,then keep one dog simple.

 

Inever try to save money on my dogs , why? because i only keep what i can afford to pay for , and i like to a see a nice tidy setup with decent housing etc , and if youve been aroud as long as you say , then you will have seen a number of shitty looking yards , and that comes down to a number of factors , one beening laziness, two being lack of money, three being a mix of the first two reasons, which either way means your not doing right by the dogs , so amybe all the people who have a problem with my saying this are looking out at a yard like im describing and dont like the truth.As for my steroetyping , well when i see a tv documentary or the news about a bust etc , its always those types that get the media attention or caught , and ive yet to see in the media , a doctor or lawyer or in general a respected person of a comminuity get caught or even speak up when another mans yard gets busted , cos the reality is there are more of thoese stereotypes involved in our breed tahn not , so stop living with your head in the sand like an ostrich ,if you havent noticed guys ,the goverment ,and all governments are out to kill this breed and right now there way out in front , so the next time the humane society and the cops raid a yard , and the owner is like one of those stereotypes i spoke of , whos yard looks like dog hell , blame that guy , cos believe me a picture speaks a thousand words , so if they ever come to me , nuymber one they wont be dealing with a stereotype , and two my yard wont look like the the humnae society like it looks good and clean.

 

Ok you got me I have seen the horror stories you speak of.Thats why I get what you are saying.Its also the reason I keep my dogs in better conditions then others do.And I don't keep more then I can afford to!Just don't care for the sterotype.I am sure you have fell victim to it just by owning apbts so I understand your points.Sometimes we all have to understand others!

 

So people who look for deals dont care for their dogs very well or have very nice yards.Thats what your saying right.Let me ask you this do you own your Home .If so did you pay full price,if not according to your theory it must be in shambles,or what about your car or truck.I built my own dog houses did I buy the material no .I got a smoken deal on the material are they shitty nope they are very nice.I gotta say your rant is way off .cheers

 

I too understand what your saying Gar but to cut someone like that was just unnecessary. Maybe he was trying to save on the book so he could spend more on the dogs. The intentions arent known and he didnt deserve to be the whipping boy.

 

Look guys if you read my original post i said "maybe this doesnt appy to you" the guy trying to save a buck on the book was not my main point of objection , it was just that along with that all i ever seem to hear and see is guys trying to save money but all there doing is spending more in the long run, nothing against this guy , but as an example the book the guy wanted is known by all to be full of usefull and moneysaving ideas , from building your own housing /pens /whelping boxes , to were to buy the shots and medications you might need , so infact buying the book at full price , is more than going to save you money .The book thing was just me seeing red , after all the other stuff i see , but was not meant to be just about that guy and saving a $ , it was as chaser has now realised ,the bigger picture that affects us all.

Some folks want to save money on things like kennels welping pens treadmills etc... So the fuck what thay wanna know how to D.I.Y.. Why pay pay crazy prices for manufactured products that werent built to withstand the punishment of a bulldog in the first place when You can build it sturdyer and bulldog proof for less money? Fuck Jacks Book quit dickrideing you dumb ass, Books are nice to have and all and I wouldent mind haveing the bibble laying around. With that said. There aint a bit of info in that book not avalable to me with a simple phone call or two. Some folks have mentors etc.....seems youre beeing mentored by a book. Why would anyone want a book from someone that only travelled 3 times and came home emty handed 2 out of those 3. I never heard of wanting a losers stock,input or advise before. Things have really changed, wow.

 

Im no Calli Jack Fan But he has compiled alot of usefull information. Plagurized or not lol. No madder how many times he hunted . There is no argueing what others have done with dogs he bred. Do I believe his claims. Noooooooooo but... there are plenty of varafiable provin hunters from his line

He was one of the biggest on going jokes there ever was in the breed until the internet came around. He sheepishly used the internet to manipulate the unsuspecting and those who simply didn't know any better. Before the internet, no one and I mean no one did or said anything about him other than to point his direction and laugh out loud. He has always had alot to say but has never done anything but talk and talk and talk and lie and lie and lie. He based a entire yard around a dog that quit and who's littermates lost etc.... he attached excuse after excuse to justify all the defeats but in the end winners win and losers cry about what went wrong.
