Hangin Scale

Looks decent. Would probably give a good idea of what weight they are around. But I wouldn't feel real comfortable with any hanging scale like that being real accurate. I use a similar scale to weigh calves with when they are born. Ideally an electronic scale that will lock the weight is what I would like hanging or the platform type. The platform scales are expensive though.

 

walmart sales a digital hanging scale also for like $20 that works great. its on the shelves right beside that one in the fishing section

 

long as you use a test weight you should be in good shape.

 

Would not waste my money on it, get one that can be certified.

 

imma go look and see if they have any digital ones tomorrow. if they have a decent deal ill let everyone know

 

Good idea BUT how many of the APBT people at these shows will have 1 dog with them that they can put in a sit stay or down stay while on the scale? And if the breed has become so soft that they cannot take a 4 foot fall? If so we all need to start to rethink the crap we are breeding. JMO

 

Those are nice scales. I don't think its that the dogs are soft but a 4 ft fall landing on back could easily end any dog. Also a sit stay or down position wouldn't be needed with these scales walk up on them and hit the hold button and it will lock in the weight. Very nice scales.

 

oh don't get me wrong I like those scales allot and hope to grab one up real soon.

 

At most ADBA & APA shows in the midwest these are the scales that are used to weigh all of the dogs.....

Those Hanging scales work great. They are rignt on the money.

 

i just use my home digi scale, ill get on on and then get on with the dog over my shoulder lol
