No need to be sorry. Listen and learn. Just saying after asking a question you could get so many conflicting answers that a person could be more confused than to start with.

I´m little biased on ZW.
Lived near him and don´t like that guy personally.
But I´m not here to badmouth anyone, aswell as some of his dogs, period.
He is one of these guys that put out a european mag with his wife and gave anybody info on anything.
Had been in sone hot water years back and beeing too smart to get suited, well done!
But again his webside shows his personality. He´s more like a peddler and moneymaker if it comes to the dogs.
Seeing also that link to the up to scratch magazine, seems these guys didn´t learn from the mistakes done in the past!
Why the hell should there bee a need to put out a mag and present the breed the way they do nowadays??????
There´s enough on the www already aswell as people should be less talkative.
Zw dealt with so many breeds so far, Fila, Owtcharka, American Bulldogs, APBT.
Not my taste of guy and therefore not my kind of dogs!

An old friend of mine in the mid 90's had a Hammonds Dog. That SOB had high energy, loved working, and the most destrutive dog i ever met. This dog would run, jump 10 feet in the air, grab a tree branch and work it. He worked this dog daily because he had to, a tired dog is a happy dog. The desrutive side of this dog was shown to my old friend when he left him loose in the house to make a short trip to the store. He came home to a couch striped to the frame and the entire living room floor covered with foam!

Careful if you get some heavy Rufus stuff not to tighten it to much with out a cross deafness is a trait that can pop up wit that Rufus blood too tight.

9. Well to be honest "As we like'm" Looking to there ped's you should come<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
to the conclusion that both are not true Hammond's bred dog's.
At most they are just a bit above 25% Hammonds, but that's just my
inexperience opinion.
What we got here from the Hammonds were man eaters, if that's something LOL

There are many exmaples of Alligator-Eli dogs all over. Hammonds has used dogs like China Boy(Eli-Snooty) in his breeding program and others. We have had great success with this cross(Chinaman-Aliigator) and also mixing in Mexican eli blood, specially my parters dog Ch Zorro(sold to bdb). Here are some of our better ones, and I mean world class

I had a dog bred like this. He was quite tall and a bigger dog he was 50-55lbs Ammo at 10mos. 05_15_07_0902.jpg ammoshow-1.jpg Being judged by Gary Hammonds. Ammo took first place. Sorry I don't have any adult pictures of him sad result of a computer crash....

which zwettler hammonds/garner breedings click and is still in compete like his other stuff? i think the hammonds dogs from him and the crosses down this blood he done with is nothing against the eli stuff he bred.
