blood sucking flies

Having problems with flies...........sitting on dogs ears and sucking blood.

They create small scabs which they feed on. Doesnt bother the dogs but seems to be a permanant fixture?

go to the feed store and tell them you want something for flies to keep off the ears . they have it for horses .

dnt waste ur money on the ''flies off'that you find at petco, just mix half water wit acv and spray or sponge it on the dog. be careful tho n dont get theyre eyes

Like in the bible, 4 oz permethrine + 20 mineral oil in spray bottle. I use an old 1 qt. Bronco equine fly spray bottle. Cover thier eyes with your hand and spray thier ears pointing back away from eyes. Some dont like the sound of the spray so I do it slow and easy and it doesnt seem to bother them as bad. Works for about 5-6 days till they need another spray. Its cheap and it works here.

 

the only thing i don't like spraying stuff around my dogs ears . they can get yeast infections like that .

Old Goat, ACV like Laced said clears up yeast infections. And I only spray the outside.

 

well yall are not from the humid areas . you don't put anything mixed with water near the dogs ears . but you can use alcohol . and i did'nt see anything about about yeast infection on here . i just want put water on my dogs head . i even wash the face with a rag . tell me the whole name of avc . hell it probably works . but i aint putting water anywhere around my dogs head .

 

i nought a bag of some shit that smelled like vomit u added water to and hung up near the dog or dogs and it worked well for me and was cheap as hell

It gets pretty damn humid here. lol OG you brought up yeast infections in post #8. ACV = apple cider vinegar. Braggs Organic ACV is good stuff.

 

Avon Skin-so-soft, Neem oil, eucalyptus oil mix..works for flies and mosquitoes!
