Hot pup cold adult?

    has anyone ever seen a pup that was super hot when young almost completely turn off for no reason?

    I had an English Bullterrier Female back in the 1980ties, as soon as she opened her eyes she grabbed her litter brother and acted like hell, they had to be separated as she turned it on at every occassion.
    We did keep her and as she has grown she was the softest and sweetest dog toward others. even when she got bit she did do absolutely nothing!

    Happens all the time. I don't really like to see really hot acting puppies. Puppies should act like puppies. I once had a litter of Jack Russels that were the most dog aggressive pups I have ever seen. None of them were dog aggressive as adults.

    I got a couple jack russels now,,and a 8 month old APBT male,he puts up with the jack russels ,and seems to be ok with female dogs,dont like males around his size or bigger at all.

    The dog has been gone for awhile I just thought this topic might make some good conversation. The whole litter as soon as they were on solid food would go at it around the feed bowl. This one dog as a pup would grab ANYTHING and HOLD ON lol I had this big cold bitch at the same time and grabbed her at a couple months by the side of her face and she was walking around with him hanging off the side of her head. I had to break him off he probably didn't even weigh fifteen pounds. all the way until he was one or maybe a little older he was wild. By the time he was two he wasnt all that interested in other dogs.

    I had a female that was a nut got in a kennel accident when she was a year old, turned cold after that got ruined.

    Lack of interest as well. Alot people are tough til they get punched in the face then realize they really aren't tough or just dont like it.

    Nope that Bullterrier wasn´t afraid at all, she simple stayed calm and with a I don´t mind attitude!
