Leather or Nylon collars?

Not much more to be said. My 3 year old male is inside half the time and out on his chain half the time. Would a 2 in. leather or 2 in. nylon be better?

 

2 inch nylon.

 

Nylon works great for outside dogs.

 

Nylons cheaper, although i would think leather might be less course wjich may (or may not) mean less severe collar rub.

 

When I was first using tie outs I was told that nylon is the best and that has been my experience as well. I'll always go with nylon.

 

Leather tends to end up stretching, rotting and the stitching comes out over time, nylon much more durable

 

I like nylon.Like was mentioned leather stretches,cracks and rots.Nylon will make you the better collar.

 

I currently have a 2 in. nylon collar but was just curious what people thought about leather. Thanks for all the input looks like im stayin with nylon.

 

I like a good leather collar, many look nice also. But for your use go with nylon. I dont think Ive had a leather for 3 years now..
