Been feeding TOTW here for awhile, 5 dogs, go thru about 120the pounds a month. Hands down best kibble I have ever fed. If I wasn't off the grid I would feed raw, in my opinion this feed is the next best thing

Wouldnt raw be closer to an OTG lifestyle than kibble?

I have a few bags of TOTW wetlands and bison formula laying around along with two bags of Natures Variety Instinct which is also very good. No complaints with either but currently back to feeding raw for 7 dogs. Simple diet of chicken quarters, backs, necks and ground patties containing beef/heart/kidney/tripe.

I'd be careful mixing kibble x raw. Kibble and raw digest at different rates and can upset your dogs digestive system.

Please advice on that Kibbles what do you guys think of "Holistic Earth born Primitive nature". its got 38% protein, 20% fat, L-carnatine, amino acids and grain free. i found that TOTW has 32% protein and 18% fat. i just started to switched to "Holistic Earth born Primitive nature" i use to feed a chicken thigh or half a pound of meat with Royal canine kibbles but found the royal to be a wast of money. any advice will help please if any one used it or familiar with the "Holistic Earth born Primitive nature" and do i need to supplement with it or do i need to add protein or any meats. thank you on your advice.

Sure, except for the fact that a deep freezer is out of the question until I significantly up my generating capacity

Been using the Wetlands formula on my pup and 13yr old dog for about six months. Both are doing excellent. The old dog actually seems a to get sore less often on the TOTW.

Coats look fanatastic. Puppy (9months) is very shiny and very healthy. The old dog was on Pro Plan performance for the longest time then he was on Nutro Max/Ultra for another good period of time before going TOTW.

Friend has their English Bulldog on the TOTW and she is doing fantastic too. They was doing From or something like that. Much happier with the TOTW. Last I knew they was switching the two older mixes to the TOTW. Need to ask them how that is going. One dog has skin alergies and was obese. Typical pet owner stuff. Don't realize what they have done till its lil late. They are receptive to my info and help. Which will hopefully help them out with the OE-Bulldog or OEB. Actually looking to help my buddy raise the level of performance in the OEB line they have through his GF parents. Basically utilizing some breeding techniques used by performance breeders. Hopefully he takes it serious and ten years from now has some decently athelitc OEB. They want Skate boarding Bulldogs. LOL Hey atleast they are looking to work the dogs.

I think if your doing kibble its hands down the best quality grain free kibbles on the market for the price.

I feed my blue mutt half TOTW Pacific Stream for his feed, and he was on 100% TOTW PS since he was 4-5 weeks old and is IMO one of the best looking blue mutts youll see, awesome coat and skin and no issues like most blue dogs because its grain free and main meat is Salmon and that does wonders for him.

I love it, I even feed my cat TOTW cat food and she looks great.

One thing with the TOTW PS, some people's dogs end up getting a "fishy" smell to them, or even end up stinking because of it lol not sure why and I have only seen a few, under 4 people's dogs, have that issue, but yeah, just warning lol most people have no problem and most dogs love the stuff, if the PS causes and issue they have a few different "flavors" and meat sources in their other kibbles so its easy to find one that works.

If I ever need to go full kibble again, for ANY dog/cat I will only be using TOTW.

What are peoples thoughts on Orijen compared to totw? Recently switched to it feeling the dogs weren't getting proper nutrtion.

Re: anybody use "taste of the wild"

I havent personally tried it because my dog is doing good on the diet he gets right now, but some people say their dogs dont do well on it because of the higher protein level, a friend of mine has he Aussie Shep. mutt on it and he is doing great.

In my opinion its not so much the food I look at, but how the dog does on the food. If your dog does well on Orijen then keep it up and that is great, if your dog does well on Ol' Roy then keep it up and thats great. You know?

My cats do great on ToTW as well. Grain allergies = diarrhea and as soon as I made the change from Whiskas to ToTW, the diarrhea is gone and their fur is very shiny. Tons more energy as well.

I used to feed TOTW. Now I get the food in 250lb barrels. The retail mark up on dog food is ridiculous. At least 500%....
