Help with SBT pedigree

Told my buddy I'd help him research his dog's pedigree. This is a littermate sister to his dog. They are about 10 years old now and the breeder is RIP (Ken Hodgin).

Any info on ANY of the dogs would be nice. I don't know anything about SBT bloodlines or dogs.

The only way you can research these dogs is by tracing the history of the KC Staffordshire Bull Terrier through breed books written by show people , ive done it myself and found it very boring , howevor if you keep KC Staffords it might be of intrest to you , the Champions are easy to trace through KC records and stud books , one thing youll find is that they are purebred staffords most of the time

 

If my info is right Intrepid Irish Casey was a granddaughter of Ordays Leo, a son of the Geronimo dog.

It's just something he's been wanting to do but wasn't sure where to start. I don't keep staffs, just APBT. He has one dog off of Mimes-Staffs White Fang x Hoodoo's Alice Chains. His is just a pet. I'm guessing these are all show staffs? I heard the lady that runs Yankeestaff bred some show x working lines, but wasn't sure of some of the other stuff. Any info on the Intrepid dogs? From what I gather, Ken Hodgin ran the kennel but is now RIP.

 

I have read many times how Irish staffords were sent tothe USA and incorperated into the Pitbull lines in particular by Joe Orday and Pete Sparks , many years ago i corresponded with Pete and we spoke about these dogs a number of times . He told me they were never matched but Joe Orday rolled his dog several times , Orday also bred his dog to a Pitbull bitch but the pups didnt make anything , Pete Sparks had one of these pups and he bred it and sent me photos of the offspring at this time Pete was very old and did not work his dogs . A friend of mine was going to a wedding in Florida and i arranged for him to visit with Pete , he took along a camera and these photos are some of my prize possesions of all my years in dogs . The Staffords were more a novelty item to them but Pete told me Joe loved his dogs and enjoyed owning them the blood became very diluted and Pete had the last of the direct descendants of these dogs called Hank of which he sent me photographs , when i learn how to use this PC i will post a few pictures of Petes yard

I think try to search dog pedigree online or contact local dog clubs or dog trainer's. there are useful links above you may check them.
