Bisping has a great record against top class opponents and as u said , he has improved greatly, he should definitely get a title shot, not sure when due to his injury and Lombard entering the division

if all is to believed from the last Silva - Sonnen fight
Silva was injured and Sonnen was on TRT, Silva still pulled off the win

This time, for Sonnen to win he will have to manhandle Silva to the ground and stick to controlled ground and pound, that carries the risk of submission
If Silva can control the cage in the stand up , defend the takedowns successfully, I can't see it going past the 3rd round
From his days in Pride , Silva has always been an unreal striker , I can't see him loosing

that said, Sonnen is a great fighter and is a pleasure to watch fight and listen to promote a fight with his witty intelligent comments
as much as I like Sonnen and would like to see him win , it's not gonna happen imo

I think cadibuck is referring to the Bisping - Sonnen fight, when he said Sonnen was slow and sluggish due to the difficulty making weight which left him dry , they say being dry reduces the fluid around the brain leaving u more susceptiple to knockouts, which is probably why Bispings punch in the 2nd hurted Sonnen so much

Well I'll say this, Sonnen better not be dry for this fight. Bisping does hit hard, but Silva kicks a hell of a lot harder than Bisping can punch!!!

Least not forget, sonnen won every round until he was tapped in the last round by silva in their last fight. That aside, silva was fighting injured , no excuse but if he was that bad he wouldn't have taken the match. Both will come out guns ablazing this time trying to work on weaknesses , i will bet on the winner ;o)

for me i believe the key to the fight will be the Sonnen attempted take downs...in the history of the MMA there has never been anyone more dangerous than Silva when someone is coming forward...he makes people pay at a higher success rate than any one else out there....if Sonnen can get there with out catching that foot or knee, and he is as strong off the shit as he was on...he can make it to the 2nd round...but not any further...US1

I love this shit!!! Everyone jumping on the Spider bandwagon. Does anyone know the meaning of underestimation. I will go with Sonnen, just for shits and giggles so when he surprises Silva I get to laugh and if he loses oh well it was already destined to happen since the last time he lost.

By the way I like Spider's fighting style, but I will take the underdog.

For purposes of prediction, I don't think that Sonnen will rely on the same tacticts to get the same result he got in his last fight against Silva just before he got caught on the ground, he will vary his tactics to confuse Silva so that he doesn't fall prey again and if he cannot knock him out he will go for the decision which he and I are betting will once again play in his favor.

immediately after the fight silva said he under estimated the physical strength of Sonnen...he credited his ability to control on the ground but had not seen anyone that strong before..or that quick to position....then they pissed in a cup....this time, like in the Bisping fight, Sonnen will be at his natural best...the Sonnen that dominated Silva the first time would have destroyed Bisping...but Sonnen will not have that edge this time....i think it will be all about styles first and individual ability second...and Sonnen is no where close in either....Silva late in the first or middle of the second....
and as far as Silva's bandwagon goes I have called him the most dominant MMA fighter to date...so much so he has become boring...i have not bought his last four or five fights....i just wait and watch them for free...here is the script...i will walk around in a circle doing nothing, listening to the crown boo...then you will make a mistake and i will knock you out...i run jump up and sit on top of the octagon with my hands raised....i then do the Rogan interview partially in English partially in a Portuguese dialect....i listen to the critics and the "anti bandwagoners' prop up the next guy who is going to take me down....repeat...repeat...repeat....boring..boring..US1

How many rematches like this have gone to the challenger? I think Sonnen had his chance and missed it, he is not, NOT a better fighter or striker than Silva and on the ground no contest, heSonnen) came in under the radar had a chance and missed it-If they both come in at the top of their respective games who is better? I think it is SIlva, also I never jumped on his wagon, I just stated he was better and though he would win in the 1st or second round-I think we will see if Sonnen got in his head LOL or if his BIG mouth just wrote check he can not cash. It will most likely turn out with neither one wanting to make a mistake and a lot of circling and feeling out, we could see five rounds of that. yawn!!

Bisbing has soft hands. He has improved over the past few years but test and hgh have a tendency to do that.

yea but come on this is UFC, look at chuck lidell and tito ortis + chuck and randy coture and tim silvia vs andre arlocsky just to name a few, you know they gotta rematch that shit @ least 3 times to see the best 2 outta 3. dana white must love fighters that amp it up like sonnen does, i mean really you come out and call out one of the best fighters in the org lol the guys keeps it intresting. its always better with shit talk involved

babedulce lol you hit the nail on the head with that shit, lol thats how im rolling to, if sonnen wins oweeee but if he loses its already espected

fighting is 70/30 mental at that level of the game. Sonen has done exactly what he wanted to do. Silva still has one strike power. Cant wait does any one now what vagas has it at.
