Let ,me ecsplain someting. its not HF mills fault that the euro is ecspensif!!and has more valiuew then the usd.. so its only logic that due to the curency exchange at the moment that the HF mill costs more. lets consider we import a Dog trotter. IF you ship out from the us to europe. you wil have Ground shipping to the port of chooice witch should be New york as that port is the clossest transfer to europe.. now lets asume shipping ground costs 150 euro,s. Then your paying 350 euro for a pallet size space on a ship on top of the dogtrotters price of 1986 euro,s thats 2486 euro . But get this import tax on everyting from outside the eurozone is 21% =3008 euro,s!!!!! what do you mean cheaper???. ..

Now if your in a hurry and whant to be 100% sure your delicate Dog trotter needs to arive safe .not bangt up from the 4 week traveling and the varius times it needs to be handeld from manufacturer to truck to port to container to port to truck to home. and you Fly the thing out a extra 350 euro,s(423,50 with tax) can be put on the costs making it 3432 euro,s. Yes we not only paytaxes ovr the valiuew of the parts imported but over the SHIPING costs as wel....... Now GET THIS shipping costs from port to home(overhere) is as ecspensif as 200euro,s!!! making the total costs of a dog trotter 3632,Euro,s
How do i know . i import american goods for a living and have imported Dogtrotters finest......
Now lets asume you take a day of WORK wich wil costs you 75 euro,s and you need to rent a Van ore a smal trailer/ hanger wich wil cost 75 euro,s you need to put in gas 75 euro,s. it wil cost you iven more... so please do your homework wel..

 

These are all the "hidden" costs, that are not on any dogtrotter price list. The price you see is mill only, then, once shipping comes into play, all those costs are added on top.

But for me personally, the damages is the biggest point. I've imported a few mills over the years. All had some form of damage or scrapes. You would expect a mill to arrive damage free after spending hundreds on shipping.

If I bought HF mill, I'd collect myself. This way I can be sure it won't be damaged in transit.

 

I dont think you can go wrong with either maker, both are a good representation of a quality product from what people are saying. One is just more practical to to some than others given your location. It is always nice to have another option which should drive cost down a bit.

 

PS i left out the 6% import Rights on top of it al. So it makes no sense importing a mill from outside the eurozone!!..
bij the way you CAN reduce freight time and the risk of damage bij useing a warranty shipmend when importing stuff. . but this wil set you back iven more. Unlles you have a company with a major discount on shipping..

These mills are truly BADASS

 

I assumed free spinning was a solid plus, but everything you said makes sense. So basically a free spinning mill is a total waste?? I was gonna look into that dog trotted myself. It's expensive but who else makes them and ships worldwide. I have two nice apbt's and a small yard. Ive walked them with choke chains and all, super anti animals!!! Treadmill b my best bet!

When I started going to the gym I stop jogging on the streets and would just use the treadmill any where from 45 min to 1 hour for about 4 month. We'll I stop going to the gym for certain reasons but the show must go on.. We'll I went for a jog on streets and I started feeling heavy only 25 minutes into my jog..

 

Hi limey, I'm wondering do you expect all your work to be done on a mill? Just wondering because of what your saying. I incorporate strength work to my programme for anaerobic that's needed. Cheers

 

I have a brand new HF mill , the quality is good , its doesnt spin 10 turns , more like 3 or 4 , but my dog is affraid to get on it .

We run outside in the trail and field instead
