Skin issues along with many other health issues are prevalent in blue dogs.

Yes, take her to the vet for a culture for Chrissakes. I've seen such "oozy bumps" most commonly when someone's dog has either a straw or related allergy, or staph infection. Either way, you need to know, and that will take the vet, and the vet can prescribe you whatever you need (common for staph is lincocin).

A vet may or may not be able to help you find the source
of the problem. A vet will probably get your dog on medication including antibiotics. Your dog may be allergic to something, which then leads to skin irritation. Then bacteria or fungi set in and aggravate the condition. But determining what your dog is allergic to can be very hard.

Some people have found that grain-based dog foods cause allergies. Grain-free foods have helped some dogs.

I think Blue Buffalo does have grains. There are several grain-free foods that are the same price or less than BB.

I would consider trying simething like Taste of the Wild to see if it helps.
