Puppy food question?

Has anyone every fed sold gold hundenflocken dry kibble to their puppies? Please, any opinions welcome. I would like to know some fact of sufficient nutrition for a APBT puppy and if this kibble will suffice. Here is the link with the nutritional values.

The food you linked to is adult food, not puppy food. The protein and fat contents are too low for a puppy at 20% protein and 10% fat, and IMO too low for any type of active adult dog.

Pups do well with 25-30% protein and 15-18% foods. I feed my puppy Taste of the Wild kibble which is 26-28% protein and 15-18% fat depending on flavor and is grain free which is a preference for me. I bump the fat content up a little with a little coconut oil 3 days per week and fish oil 2 days per week.

For a very active or working adult dog you want to get the protein range up into to the mid to high 30% range, but no need to be that high for a pup.

 

Well I fucked up and listened to the pet store supposedly nutrition specialist and but this shit. Today I actually called solid gold and the basically told me that they don't have a line to support the growth for an apbt puppy but was intended for large/giant breed dogs. I feed my adult nothing but orijen seems to thrive but a puppy doesn't need that stuff. I'm going to take the solid gold back and switch to merrick or canidae grain free all life stages food. Anyone have any opinions of either of these?

 

I feed totw puppy formula too. I also add 1g of amino acids to it with 1 cap fish oil.
She loves the taste of it all mixed together.

I fed Orijen when mine was a puppy with no issues, she stayed on that rotating between fish and red meat formulas until i just recently switched to raw.

 

Any opinions on merrick or canidAe grain free all life stages
