For these reasons I perfer the old term of bulldog as 99.9% of registered PITS never even seen one,let alone multiple generations to be further from the truth than they would like to admit...
In everything in life it comes down to values and if the dollar bill controls your thoughts and actions...
Breeders that breed multiple generations and arent content with a hand written pedigrees or a memory file are usually in it for the $$$...
Call me old school but I would be more reluctant to purchase a pup from a breeeder with the pups reg cert on hand than a hand written one or word of mouth and a handshake... If a piece of paper is more proof than a mans good word, why would you deal with them???IMO...

 

.....the Q was asked ....should i trust, cause he only had hand written peds..well thats the way most done their records..it's funny people today...will not belive a ped because it's not on computer peds-online/etc....lol....know the person ya buy off is best and if there honest ya will here mostly good about them.............

The answer is MONEY! The registries will register whatever you want if you're sending them money. It's sad; there's very little integrity anymore!

Any jo blow can start a registration any where at the drop of a hat. More than half the paperwork on these bulldogs are hung any way. Hell F.B has the same print out as the ADBA (if u dont get it read it again) so what dose that tell u. B.H just calls his breedings in and thay print out what ever he needs. Think about it the ADBA is not some big corporation thay just have a computer that has a large pedigree database. 95 percent of Register are home based business. That are bought and sold.

DNA test dont mean shit if u don't have the parents tested. If u get a dog or pup from Tom.G and u get a DNA test done all it's going to tell u is what DNA is in your dog alone not who the parents are. Unless thay are DNA witch more than likely thay are not.
U can get a mut off the street and get it DNA it won't tell u if its a pit bull or a bully or a mutt. Now if u take that mutt and breed it to something else that has DNA on file and breed them 2 then u can get paperwork saying puppy 1-11 was off of what ever.

My point is Handwritten, ADBA, UKC, ANDR, WWDR, ANDR, SDR, APBR, and DNA TESTING can all be falsified no matter who u are or who thay are. It can it has and it will be hung and there ant shit u can do to stop it.

Get u a bulldog only breed to bulldogs and KEEP YOUR OWN SHIT!!!!

 

No you just can't lump entire families or lines together like that. It's like asking tell me about ice cream...many different flavors of the same brand.

 

I know a american bully breeder very well and he would never call his dogs pitbull because they are not, i respect him for this, he has his own name for his line wich i dont wanna bring up here, he admits people still use mastiffs and diffrent bulldogs and such to deform and shape and color there breed, he is not!!! his line of dogs is price winning all the time for what they are worth, they are still able to work but he admits they are lazy, he votes for making this hybrid a dog of its own...seriously isnt there a way to do this???

On the other hand american bulldogs come in diffrent shapes and sizes and 'characters'...johnson scott hines whatever...i think this is going to be the same story iff nothing is done...

Btw That look when you tell a owner braggig about his blue or champagne dog 'thats not a pitbull' they dont even know better!! BUT HE GONE LEARN TODAY!!
