Slat Materials

Discussion in 'Products & Equipment' started by bulldogger, Mar 8, 2015.

  1. The modern slatmills, the high end ones anyway, are using something other than wood for slats. What Im not certain of, but I would like to know. And if anyone has experience with slats of that type, what do you think of them?

I've seen them made of what some call plexyboard, same thing some break sticks and cutting boards are made of

  5. Can you share a link to seller of the material Dogtrotter uses? I searched around and found a bunch of different material, but I cant find anything with a decent price point.

  6. No one else knows what kind of material the belts on Dogtrotters are made from?
