Carpet Mill I built

    I made this Carpet Mill myself but the mastermind behind it was Slim12. 100 percent credit goes to him he helped me out and walked me thru steps. Real good guy. Thanks man. Anyway the mill goes around 2 or 3 time depend on how hard you pull it. ALOT smoother than my first attempt anyway check it out and tell me if you guys have any tips

    Good job. The carpet mill is simple yet effective. Effective being the operative word, as long as it works the dog.


    Add some carpet runners to serve as guides/helps the carpet track and some sort of sides.


    The sides will keep the dog from trying to get off on either side plus they help prevent distractions for the dog.


    Remember it is always about the mill's effectiveness, not its appearance. I can remember spending hours on end sanding, filling and staining/painting until the wood was furniture quality. The corner's were 45'ed and jointed to perfection. Then at the end of the day it worked just like the one that I had just put together.


    I then opted for effect over appearance.

    Ha the dog I built it for my dalmatian won't run on it but my pound dog loves it in short 30 second burst with peanut butter at the end will make a video soon

    The belt is made of runner carpet from lowes got the idea from slim and my rollers are wood and also use slims design. Slim you got this down and you were a crazy amount of help thanks so much

    I wonder about the possibilities of a "collapsable" or "portable" mill. Something that maybe could be put together and taken apart in a decent amount of time. May not be plausible at all but just a thought seeing as how these days having a mill qualifies you as a "multistate dogfighting ring"


    It's a hard life, but I'm living.

    I have built a couple collapsible mills over the years. Not so much not suppose to have one but more so for smaller living quarters, such as an apartment or smaller house with no outbuilding.

    Siccen get advice from some of the more experienced people on the boards before building will make it easier and not so many mistakes will make it easier on your wallet. First one I built was a very hard turner. This one is way better
