    i've made a new routine. any suggestions that can be made are appreciated. remember i'm still a minor so i'm kind of limited in terms of what i can do. after i get all the materials together this is the plan for every season but winter.

    morning routine
    ============
    short walk of 15 minutes
    treadmill for 15
    pat down
    3/4 a cup of Diamond Naturals Extreme Athlete Dry Dog Food

    afternoon routine
    ==============
    at 5:45 get ready to exercise dog
    warm up: throw ball down steps for 5 minutes
    walk 1.2 miles (from my house to Safeway)
    pat down
    treadmill 10 minutes (i'll build up time until she reaches 25)
    rub down
    3/4 a cup of Diamond Naturals Extreme Athlete Dry Dog Food
    at 7:00 play fetch in house for 15 minutes

    how does it sound? and does anybody use a human treadmill?

    sounds like a very dedicated routine. Good luck :) in the afternoon you may want to go on a nice walk before you throw a ball and have him running up/down stairs. make sure you give him about an hour rest before feeding. Plenty of people use an electric treadmill, i'd love to get me one. Unfortunately I can't offer any tips there, but i'm sure someone can chime in with some

    Any exercise program works better with a written plan, so you are started in the right direction. Maybe keep a journal as the both of you progress.
    Someday you will find that old journal in the attic or basement and get a chuckle from reviewing it.
    When I was younger I had no access to a treadmill so I hand walked my dog 4 miles every day and
    daily flirt pole. You can buy them dirt cheap, or just make your own. Good luck
