Read, Read again, what you don't understand ask a ?. Listen, think, & think before ya try. If something don't make sense get a second opinion. That's what's good with the net....never short of opinions. You never know who you can learn from.....just be careful as some may lead you astray or use you for their own interests. Truly, if you have a good head on your shoulders you already have a leg up on most that fiddle with the breed.lol A open mind and willingness to learn can take you where you need or want to get. IMO the best mentor will try and discourage you before they're willing to enlighten you. JMO

 

He's younger than kenito and expresses himself very clearly and articulately. I'd say he already at an advantage to many in the dogs. Best advice could be drawn from what Bob Lemm said of his moments with Maurice Carver, he kept his mouth SHUT and his ears open. It is better to stay quiet and appear a fool than to portray a role and prove it. Hear all and pick the sense from the nonsense, there is enough information out there for anyone with a genuine interest to build a base level of understanding before coming online to ask dumb newbie questions to get bashed. If you're fortunate to have a dogman near, get in with him if you're not so lucky get yourself one dog and love him ALL and do the best you could for him and when the time comes for field trials if he prevails the fire and desire will grow; if he fails you will know in yourself if you have the heart to go on...

IMO, TDK was willing to be of great help for anyone that's teachable. Lady Rampage [rip] Helped me more than anyone as far as good orderly direction go's. She told me that TDK , Helped her more than anyone. There are so many nice educated Dog men and Lady's too. Iron Mike, Rock & Rye, AGK, Ect... That will be happy to give honest advice. If im going to ask a question about a situation and i already know what im going to do, Why ask and waste peoples
