The ear or the chest dog?

It is nice when dog have hard mouth, it is inteligent, have good lungs, physical strength, versatile etc.


But compare ear vs. chest dogs solely on the basis of style is inappropriate because so many additional factors besides the style affects the final result .

 

A friend has a dog that goes for testicles.another friend has one that goes for butt cheeks

 

Butt cheeks? That's a stifle... I don't believe I would keep a foul fighter like that. Can't test him without possibly ruinin another dog!

 

Set him down for a few dollars if you can't get any time on him.. If your so worried about him ruining another one go put a bet on him and let him ruin someone else's shit.

 

if i remember correctly Lloyd's pilot was a partial ear dog. he'd slam or throw dogs by their ears. but he also went for the legs. and i think the throat.

 

That's what my partner said lol. He got one that'll go for nuts if you on your back. "He gone snatch them nuts off!" I can hear it now...

 

The head style will make your shit quit. Has a better chance of making GR CH. Less after care. I would take a well experienced head hound over any other stlye hound.

 

Funny thing is i bet some chest dogs could plug holes and swell them up when given the chance pretty fast, make an owner stop the pull. I believe the old timers would rather give an ear over a chest, hell some cut them off any way.
