I make it a habit to delete any pm once I have read it and replied or not replied so I cannot post our exchange. Imho.. It all depends on the source of ones info. If it's coming from a stand-up type of person(s). one can run with it. Now, if you're getting all your info from some joe-blow on the net, you might be still lost, on said subject... ijs

 

You get your own experience and draw from that or you ask other who have worked with the blood themselves. I have no idea if EP has or has not any first hand experience with the Frisco dogs but I DO KNOW ep is not some fuckin newb or internet blow hard. He is a wealth of knowledge both learned, read and taught from various dogmen and I know from PM's I have had with him he is someone anyone can learn from because he has been around. Fuck these newbs ruin it for other newbs that come here with the right frame of mind.

 

Before you can get your own experience(s), you have to research the blood you're after. Doing your research, you will hear all kinds of things. You could also keep hearing the same things. So again it all depends on ones source(s)...ijs

Btw I had a shy tight bred mayday male, and during my research I find out that his great grandma, was a shy bitch. She was a sister to md, and his dad was from md to dl. A bro sis breeding.

 

This guy bought a pup...work with that pup...put in time with that pup...don't be do quick to judge that pup...do as must research on the dogs behind you dog as you can...ask the right questions to the right people...and don't disregard a very knowledgeable dogmans input because he may not have owned one from the same line, you don't know who that man knows and what dogs he has been around.

 

Personally I respected Vinnys take on the dog in which he bred, raised and schooled the cur,as a young dog he let people breed to him and the frisco fans should be happy as those first dogs were tested toung and hard as know one wanted them because frisco was curring rank everytime they looked at him... TG took the baton and ran with it...

I have personally delt with enough frisco dogs to not want them...
The ones that seemed better in my boat were off the lee ling breedng, chinason being an exceptional anima....
That man wanted another chinason so bad he bought plenty of dogs fromm tg off frisco and most were shy, the ones that did good other wise later quit...
When ch Rutcus was curring the ch noodles out agian as he was also rank but most couldnt keep up with him to find out, noodles was cur snaping at his owner...
When ch Mikey stopped ch chomper, they said chomper was very scetchy during the wash...

I think the same about alot of Banjo dogs...

Ive done enough studies and HEARD enough negitive things about both that I would skip a linebred one in a heartbeat, but a touch seems to be enough...

 

Thanks EP I needed something to think about. Just a touch. Now I can honestly say that I have not dealt with the line as a whole, but have had friends with them. Some good some bad. The shyness I can't blame on Frisco...it was not off him..probably doesn't even contain enough of his blood, my b!+€# is crossed up, so she is not a Frisco dog...whatever she is she's shy...spooky whatever at times but getting better. As with them all only time will tell what they will be. I'm pretty sure their plenty of friendly curs as well as shy game dogs. I just hate that trait.

I personally never had a dog from Garner's stock but a good friend of mine R. Calvert ( Hillbilly) had D. Almendarez send his Jenny gyp to T.G. to be bred to Gr. Ch. Spike. The results brought us the Spanky Dan dog, who turned out to be a real good one. Can you post a ped on him, Elias?

These three siblings,,,Anger, Fury and Rage were some of the more recent ones purchased from TG from his little spike semen he saved...
All three were fine,,, none shy and all produced what we were hoping for...

I was merely asking for a first hand perspective, I enjoy reading about others with experience with these dogs. Like chuvalo mentioned, I have a frisco gyp, but contrary to what he's suggested, I've never said she's something bc she's rough around the house (I actually mentioned that I questioned her gameness) , and certainly didn't suggest I need to make money off her. I actually told chuvalo that I had no stomach for the game and opened up about breeding/husbandry concerns (which he didn't know anything about) thinking he was trustworthy and knowledgeable, then he flipped over night and showed his true colors. Everyone take note! I'm a lawyer, which might also explain the big words, and will continue to enjoy this forum to search for the truth that a lot of bulldoggers share. But will not post anymore for fear of ppl like chuvalo and the behavior he demonstrated. No wonder this forum gets so few real posts anymore and the true bulldoggers are long gone and no where to be found. I have had conversations with CHUVA through PM and I have never had one problem with the guy.He just tells it like it is.
