One thing I have always found interesting is the difference between many (not all of course) North American dogman and that of overseas dogman in regard to the best to best regardless of bloodlines being used.

That is logical. You Americans had lotof dogs, with defined lines, dogmens
with years of experience who had a favorite stabilized lines.

Vice versa to that dogmens which imported dogs in late eighties and nineties
often did not know the basics.
That referred to the conditioning and breeding.
There has been a failures in many cases, but sometimes occurred good, even excellent results. But with time every breeder gain a sense to some line and he prefers that line.

Now if you like at this more recent example, you can see that they took a boomerang-eli(with a touch of a couple others)bitch. Bred her to a double bred son of mayday. Then took a bitch from that, and bred her to a linebred black magic male.... Now if you look at his offsprings, the best litter so far is bred back to the mayday stuff... So it's not like two scattered bred dogs, got bred to make the battle cross... It's a method to the madness...lol

who said anything about selling? they're not going anywhere. and they'll be tested as well.if they don't make the cut they don't make the cut. by some chance they do make the cut they'll be bred to those two macho dogs who are known producers. if they don't well, cull (or keep them for schooling i suppose).

even if they breed, it'll be personal breeding. it's all a crapshoot anyway. beside this breeding is a very long way off. have to get past importation issues, get the pups, raise those pups, etc. if the studs are still alive when the bitches are tested hooray me.

Listen know-it-all.... cause we(Americans, and good breeders) as a whole understand, that breeding is about percentages. Not about if you get 1-2 outta 8 or better.... I think you need to post less, and read(research) more.... lmao you honestly have no clue

Do you realize how many hundreds of breedings, he had to do to get those few(in regard to shear numbers) good dogs

If you breed best to best without regard to bloodline you get more of a variance in my opinion. And when breeding a bigger variance is not always a good thing. When you breed a family of dogs the right way you bring the percentages up when you are looking at them thoroughly. When breeding two unrelated dogs everything is variable you may have 8 pups and all be very different.
