GA: Man faces 35 charges related to dog fighting ring

This ain't true! I'm sure some of the "legendary dogmen" had yards you wouldn't approve of. To most it's just a hobby, just dogs. Even the ones with clean yards. Ppl defend these types because they are average ppl. Most pitbull, not petbull, owners aren't straight up and down types. Some are, but don't be surprised when someone doing one illegal thing is doing another. Would YOU risk YOUR freedom to "keep the dogs true?" You should respect those that do. That way you can brag about "the breed" and keep your hands clean.....

 

The one dog that looked bad looked like she might have just had pups. I had one here have 11 and they took A LOT out of her. I mean she was a bag of bones! Worse than that dog or equal. I was nervous to take her outside for a week or so. That being said she ate like a horse. I fed her multiple times a day. She didn't get her weight back until the pups hit a couple weeks!!

You are correct I am sure there is/was lots of legendary dogmen that have had yards I would not approve of. I don't understand how talking decent care of your dogs and having a decent looking yard makes them untrue? A well taken care of dog will destroy a neglected dog so how is that keeping a dog true to the breed its pure laziness is what it is. I have no problems with rolling/''showing'' dogs. If the accused took care of his dogs and yard he probably would not be getting charged in the first place. I respect those who respect there dogs. Just because you take good care and respect your dogs doesn't make them any less game.

I too have seen only one emaciated dog.......IMO the reason why that dog was emaciated is it seems like he was trying to dry up his bitches tits after she whelped a litter of pups by bringing her below her pit weight and then building her back up which is somewhat of a common practice. The problem is he drew her down WAY too much due to either lack of experience or lack of concern or both.

 

I'm thinking it's more to this story. What I saw wasn't worth going away for 35 years.

 

Funny how some ppl immediately pull the racist card out on what I'm saying, that's not at all what I'm talking about here, i am no racist my own wife is 1/8 Jamacan, I'm mearly stating how it's all these typical junk yards that look like nobody takes time to fix it up and maintain it, it's typical that these are the kind of ppl that keep getting busted, black, white or other doesn't matter, fact is that these dogs look terrible and you can tell that these ppl you are getting busted are only in to the dogs because for them it's a cheap easy way to make money, they could not care less about the breed or the dogs they don't follow proper edicate and they are making a bad name for anyone who wants to breed apbt's and have a yard of their own,
