Pretty dogs!

What I've learned form being on this site is different people love different types of dogs. I apologize to the people I've offended by making comments about their dogs because I have no right to bash on there dogs just because I don't like em. Now I'm not saying that you guys are doing that but I just thought this comment was worth posting. All I have to say is love your dog and I will love mine.

Please tell me this dog was created on photoshop & his owners/breeders really didn't do this to a dog all for their own sefish egotistical reasons.

No one said we shouldn't love the dogs. But these people aren't breeding these dogs b/c they (the dogs) are wonderfully healthy, have long life spans, & most of all b/c the owners love them. The owners breed them for money, for "fame", for ego, for that "look cool" reputation. These dogs are nothing more than living, breathing fashion accessories bred for the sole reasons of profit & to go along with the outfit of the decade.

Again, I don't hate the dogs. Just the people who breed them & I despise the people who buy them b/c they are only keeping these idiots in business. If you contribute to the problem, YOU ARE THE PROBLEM!

I really love them american bulldogs, but what i really love and am getting next is an Olde English Bulldogges, in true form of course.like the Hermes, or leavitt bloodlines.

 

Going OT here for a minute, but folks, please remember another thing when venturing out into other breeds. The AB & even the OEB were bred to be WORKING dogs. However, just as in the APBT, head size, chest size, & overall monstrosity has replaced working ability in breeding criteria. Unfortunately, 80% of the Johnson AB's of today are only bred for one thing: size. They are no longer bred for working ability & it's literally killing the breed (they suffer from numerous genetic structural issues & other health issues). Our OEB has some Hermes blood a few generations back, but overall this is no longer a working line either. It's a line bred for looks & size. We actually got our male OEB (no longer have our female) from a working farm where the dogs were actually working dogs. And there's nothing worse than ending up with a Gotti looking mutt with severa hip dysplasia, bowed elbows, & cardiac disease (which is what you WILL get when buying for looks).

I strongly suggest finding boards/forums that promote working ability of the AB & OEB over anything else. Treat every other breed as you would have ours be treated.

That was well put and I agree with you that SOME of these people that breed those dogs are only looking for money. I'm not speaking to you because as long as I been on this website my respect for you has gained because alot of your post actually make sense. I am just speaking to the people on this website that are ass holes and don't do nothing but talk about aother dogs when their own aint even that nice. I no it because I use to do that stupid shit. Reading over my old post I see that and apologize for that.

Those are some mighty ugly bluffs. Those poor dogs look to big to even stand. Is that why they are sitting in most of their pictures?

 

I will be nice and say that I hope you enjoy your pup, and I hope that you give him some excersize that the grandparents obviously didnt have. Good luck with that....

 

I was thinking the same as 14. They are pretty but the second one as soon as I saw the pic I thought it looked like an Amstaff.
