Old thread. A Good cross in the right hands. As with any other cross in the wrong hands it could be ruined , not worked, peddled, and any other thing already mentioned. Personally haven't seen enough of any line to feel comfortable lumping them all in one category but that's me. Every dog regardless of how its breed stands on his own merit and wont be the tell all of a bloodline IMO. Certain things I can say from experience but are not the rule for a bloodline for example the Alligator stuff I have had over the years required more patience than any other blood I have owned. I have personally seen them tend to be slow starters the type some don't have time for. But that's just my experience but as 50 other people get different answers. Its hard to make a generalization about these lines cause its so many things to factor. But every one has their own take which I respect.

Its been a while sins this topic was started. coming back on one of the aspects of this topic. Namely Alligators pedigree.they the plumbers could be right claiming that Williams Satin lady was black widow based . We have seen many inbred spike type of dogs including bitches that lookt awefull close in type and looks and coleration like Black widow did,. Dogs that are heavely inbred tru the Ironline bloodline that is based on LK Spike and crossesd back into LK spike/Nelis/Tug famely resamble that black widow look alot... having said that how do we ecsplain the Carvers Ironhead mask trowback in lots of the Hammonds Rufus bred alligator dogs!!??.. If Williams satin lady is out of Grenshaws Reno x Carvers Black widow . Carver was ofcours known to sell you the cake but only gave you a part of the resepy.... What we do know is That 75% of his dogs Where Ed Grenshaw dogs, Who,s work is realy wat made carver a great breeder. its a shame Carver changed the Grenshaws pedigrees... and that Grenshaw never got that reconision he disirved as one of the best breeders ever of his days..

I don't want 100lb game dogs that can run 50mph and I never said I did. and peon I did not ask your opinion on if I should breed and I have owned and been raised around pitbulls my entire life,and I don't plan on breeding for years at least actively and I have partners . I want 55 to 65lb bulldogs at least thats what I prefer in size and an above average mouth with endurance I don't plan on having the most game or biggest or hardest dogs I just asked opinions on bloodline crosses it would help me much more to act less like a smartass and be more informative.
