I have an inside bitch that I have tried everything for mites. Everything at the feed store and some things people have told me . Shes still digging at her ears, they look scally and swollen. Should I give her some penicillin ? Any ideas?
    Thanks

I recommend a visit to the vets as well. Ears are NOTHING to mess with, and an improper diagnosis can lead to internal da mage.

if its an ear infection it will cause a permanent thickening to the ears if left untreated,,have the vet swab the ear and make sure its mites

My female has constant problems with her ears. I clean them with Veternarian's Best Ear Wash Relief and then put in Ear Dry Relief after they have been cleaned. It works well. I use it about once a week or so, depends on how dirty her ears are. I would definatley have a vet check your pups ears though. Good luck.

if one ear is constantly infected, then its either a deep deep infection, food allergies, or airborne allergies. dont mess with ears, as the ear can get buildups which will cause the ear to go deaf after time.

It's better to go to your vet for a check-up. That way, the vet can clean it out & see what medicine will do good.
