That dog is fat...not as bad as mine but still not in very good shape IMO. Im not tryna make you feel stupid but trust me he could stand to lose some weight...not as bad as many other RE dog i have seen though. It is a nice looking dog even though its not my kind of dog.

    Wait uhhh...is this a joke :o

4 months and he's 40lbs and you say that's not fat, my female is a almost 2 y/o and maybe 40lbs and my male is 3 1/2 y/o and might be pushin 60lbs and i consider both to be fat

You cant even see not one rib and the dog has hardly any tuck or tone.....My female is 2 1.5 and is fat at 41 pounds....

  9. Ky_PitBulls

Feed her less.....and it is normal for a pup to have puppy fat.....they should be fat at that age IMO.

exactly, i mean you cant expect them to be lean at that age, but still 40lbs @ 4months is big, but still some is puppy fat right now, in sayin that she is a beautiful pup

Yup she is a good looking dog and has a nice coat.....still not my cup of tea but maybe some more pics would be nice.....She looks good for a pup..she is on the big side but hey most of the RE Gotti dogs are. Just take care of her and when she is older work her and get her into shape.

ALSO i dont think you should be running a 4 month old pup two miles......there joints and everything are still forming and that is alot of strain for a pup that big.

While I personally don't care for the bloodlines, she is a pretty dog. Let her be a puppy and grow but when she is grown be sure to condition her well. RE dogs tend to run heavy anyway so you will have to stay after her to keep her in decent shape. They generally won't be as muscular (ripped) just big without alot of conditioning.

    I agree.........too much, too soon

  18. she's not fat because of how you're feeding her...she's 'fat' because of how she is bred. no matter how much you run her and give her the 'proper' diet, she will always be bigger/thicker than standard...just because of how she is bred. she is a beautiful looking animal....but for most people here...not a beautiful 'APBT.' it looks like you take good care of her...but simply the way she is bred, lending to the 40 lbs/4 months...she is way out of standard and will be at least 70 lbs at maturity. keep taking care of her, watch how much you work her at this age, dont free feed her, and enjoy your cute pet.

I personally love RE, Gotti dogs, but only from a breeder who actually excercises them. My male pup is RExGotti and his sire is a solid 95lbs, with lots of stamina and great defintion and when he was a pup he had weighed 30lbs@3mths almost 4mths. I wouldn't recommend so much exercise for the little girl anytime soon. Short walks daily is enough or practice swimming a little. Regardless of what you hear about your dog, there is a right and wrong switch in your mind and when you aren't sure about something then turn the other cheek. If you're in need of more hints and tips for RE, Gotti, then just PM me.

This is not the site to discuss these bloodlines or any dogs bigger than what you see most of these people with(no offense to anyone here).

Edit:Not all dogs or owners of the above bloodlines are irresponsible in every aspect

i was thinking along the same lines as this post.Your dog being razr/Gotti you should expect it to be bigger. We all know they are show dogs bred for mass and apperance.
