What annoys me more than anything

The other day i was talking to someone. We was Talking about our dogs. They ask What kind of dog i got. I told her an apbt. Then she goes. Those are terrible dogs you should not have them with your kids. I asked her why. She told me that they will turn on you and kill your children if left alone with them. I asked her If she knew anyone at all that has been atacked or killed by a pit bull. She told me that she herd stories and that they are bad dogs. I asked her if she has even seen a pit bull before. She said no. Turns out this lady didn,t even know what a pit bull even looked like. I can not stand these sterieo types. It really annoys me. Guys we need to start a program or something to promote the positive image of the True American Pit Bull Terrier. We need to get the media back on our side. Hell My dad thought of pit bulls the same whey he has little poms. Now after me bring my dog over and he got attached to her. He asked me if he can have a puppy so i gave him one. Now he is a pit bull fan. I saw this and thought. Couldn,t this be turned around. Most of the people that dont like pit bulls know nothing about them. Most of them wouldn,t even be able to point them out.

Get used to it, you can only try to educate them! People are gonna have there opinions, some good and some bad!

 

They are idiots....plain and simple. the world is filled with them. People not willing to embrase the past, truth, and what lies right in front of them. Idiots, thats all I have to say. Pieces of worthless, "I know everything cuz I watch the new", idiots.

 

Same thing with my dad. I moved back from the midwest and he kept my dogs for a couple of weeks. Before hand he thought all pits should be shot and they were good for nothing. After my house was ready and their kennels were finished I went back to pick them up, and dad asked me if he could keep Dozer. He said one day he let him run around and he ran and jumped in the truck. So he became dads riding buddy. It's funny how people spend a little time with a real pit and grow to love them

 

You meen pet. If you want to say "pit" than refer to it by its full name. APBT also works. When you say "pit", than it has no meening. You are simply using the "Im a gangta" lingo for any dog that looks like it can fight. Not trying to jump your bones, but I dont like it when people refer to them as "pits". Its either "American Pit-Bull Terrier" or APBT.

 

I think exactly that is not souch a good Idea.....because the big problem is it turned to much around..

 

Don't you have better things to do than pick apart a post? I am not aware of the "ganta lingo". I will use whatever language I so desire. By the way, meening, is spelled m-e-a-n-i-n-g.. I appreciate your opinion, but I really am not concerned with what you think I mean. This is the first time I have ever heard (or read) that saying "pit" refers to a dog that looks like it could fight. If your offended, then thats your problem. Have a great day!

This is about all I hear out of your ignorant post. Im not a Grammer teacher nor do I care for spelling mistakes, but what I do care about is "My Breed".
Like I said, I wasnt trying to hurt your sad little cur feelings, I was trying to correct a common mistake made by people. "pit" is not the name of this breed. You can take that with a grain of salt, and walk your marry little cur path. By the way, Its night time where I live.

 

Going off and calling all people who only know about "the pit" sterotype a bunch of idiots, may not be the way to go about things. I work w/ some brilliant people, very educated, very open minded about things etc... They have had to be "gently" corrected as far as the demeaner of the dogs we are so fond of, our beloved APBT's. The people are not really idiots, just misinformed and personally I try to treat them as such. This way the sterotypical owner is never observed by them but rather, a lover of a fine breed of dogs!

 

most people here in AMERICA, use short words to speak. You didn't hurt my feelings, I was just wondering why you are so offended, and why you think you know so much about my intentions by one word. Look man, piss off, and get off your high horse. Why would I change what I say based on your opinion? Just because you have a problem with what I say doesn't mean I am going to change it. I understand that where your from you may have to do what you are told to do, but here, we don't. I usually don'y use that name for them, but I was in a hurry, so I used a short name. If you have a problem with it, then you deal with it. You can call me cur and all the other slang words you have learned on here and try to get back at me because you are the one who is pissed off. Im from America, and I know well, how we speak. Where one lives is not where one is from all the time. Looks like you need to go back to school and learn some History and Government. Everything that comes out of your cur snapping mouth shows your intelligence. You talk bad about a country you know nothing about. Sounds to me like the typical American. I have a lot of relatives and friends who believe in what they hear from the media and that pisses me off. They say ridiculous things like "You never know when they will turn on its owner" yet they have never even known anyone with a APBT or even a pit mix. Its unbelievable. I cannot change their perspective on the breed because they will not listen and have their mindset of APBT as man biters.

 

And if memory serves me right, this is a dog site, and not a spelling site. Trust me, I know I have bad spelling......but thanks for reminding me.
