Hammonds line..

Do not know much of this line and was wanting to find out the traits that line carries? Any dogs would be great also

 

park son rom,ch hailstone, rufus rom, alligator, its a good line
of sound stock not heavily in bred so confermation varies but well known to hunt through it all

 

I really like the ones I'm feeding,can't say much about traits here but I plan on getting more in the future,so I like what I'm seeing.I have a male that's really something.Wished I had 50 just like him.

 

As far as some notable dogs from that line theres, Plumber's Ch Alligator, Hammonds Rufus (Alligator's Son), Hammonds Snort (Rufus' Son), Hammonds Park Son ( Snort's Son), Hammonds' Andy L. I've Heard good stuff about Hammonds' Scout and his littermate Hammonds' and Castro's Scuttle. Hammonds' and Castro's GR CH Domino Son is producing great also from what I hear. there's many more as well. I dont have much personal experience with them though, although beware...they throw some ugly one's lol IMO :eek:. just throwin any help out there I can.

Thanks, I don't have any or know anyone with any but who knows, one day I may be in a postion to own a nice bred dog down from this line. I think they throw some big ones to, don't they? I've stated before that I just love to see a big game bred dog(50+ lbs conditoned).

yea i'd love one too, as "ugly" as they can be i still love the way some of them look..like Rufus, i think he looks awesome lol. They DO throw some bigguns though lol. Some consider Alligator to be the best "big" game dog ever, though GrCh Mayday could be some competition in that category lol.

 

yeah ceaser they do look good in their own way I would have to say hailstone is the one for me good looking dog

 

got a couple with a 1/4 line bred LIONHEAD, 3/4 nigerino good stuff.
got a couple 1/4 LIONHEAD 3/4 Chinaman even better
got one with all that plus a little something special and he is ggrrreAT.

ive always loved this girl"robinsons snaps",shes hammonds/alligator.
a dream dog of mine,dont know if shes still around or not.

 

we have some great ones down here in nz. tend to throw good mouth and long winded good hard dogs there a great bloodline and gary himself is a good honest man. Had the pleasure of meeting him myself when he came down here to NZ. I know he's honest because if he doesnt have what youré looking for he will do his best to hook you up with what it is you want. Check out his website he has his own one and he's also a member of the EBA (Endangered Breed Association) and an ADBA sanctioned judge. By the way I think we should all be members of the EBA.

try catchdog enterprises that what his kennels called. i came across it the other day thru a link some were cant remember how now wwill get back to ya if i find it if u get one off him i like the rufus stuff. but just tell him what you want and he wont put you crook my man.

 

agreed he is an honest and helpful individual. never felt like i couldn't call him with a question.
we had 2 a few years back. 1 male 1 female. good dogs. the female was a bit on the big side (50lbs), but a good bitch nonetheless. got one litter of pups outta her before she passed. we're still feeding a few of them. i don't think they are ugly, of course i don't think beauty is skin deep.:cool:

 

yor rite there not ugly at all it important to remember he keeps around 350 dogs and there is bound to be every look imaginable wen u keep that many bulldogs. but the true beuaty of his dogs is in there genetic make up we have a large male of a dog straight from garys yard 55lb in shape and boy is he hard to keep he can dig the stub axle out of the ground to get himself loose the bugger. but we like him alot and plan to breed him rreal soon.

 

i see a video of his yard of 4 years ago.he raise abaut 130 dogs.not 350. pups included. and my opinion , and his opinion he said in a old interview now his dogs level is so far from the early years.impossible selection make damages on dogs health and peculiar characters. but definely he's a true legend

 

he sure is. and u never se or hear a bad word spoken about him and that says alot about the man especialy seeing how he been in the dogs so long since the 60s i think isnt that gr8t
