BKLNS, I really hope your RECO dog turns out well, I'm partial to some of that old stuff he's made of. I had a bullyson dog that looked just like him.

I've got colbys dogs, which are basically my line now since I've had them for quite a few years.

I've also got a 4 year old mostly heinzl male that is a BEAST..lol

Are the heinzl dogs known to be red/rednosed animals?

 

They can have a red nose.

Kane85, I am the one with the daughter to Llantas bred to Stubbs' Reco, we have 2 litters off of the bitch, one that is the 50/50 cross Eli/Heinzl and one that is 75% Eli and 25% Heinzl.
The first litter (50/50) is now 15 months old and so far all I can say is that the couple we took a quick look at seem to posses the physical qualities to make them competitive, yet that is all I can say so far due to their age. In the next coming year we will know alot more about them.
Our second litter (75/25) is only 45 days old right now but personally I like this second litter a little better than the first as far as how the pups are acting. They look like they've been to war and if I lived in the US I would probably be in trouble if the special interest humaniacs were to pay me a visit and see them lol.

As far as the Heinzl dogs I have heard they are not competitive in their "pure" form and I have also heard that Reco is producing some very game dogs, take your pick which you choose to believe. I only can say, time will tell and the clock is ticking.

Here are 2 of our 50/50 prospects - DNK & Stubbs' Negruda and DNK Valentina.

 

And YES, Heinzl dogs DO produce rednosed dogs when bred to Stubbs' Reco (who is a rednosed dog himself).
Our only male and sire to the second litter, he is off of Stubbs' Reco x DNK's Juana la Loca.

 

Those are nice looking dogs off of Reco. I have a grand-daughter off him. She I would say is a Lydia dog. Mr. Stubbs has one off her I believe. She is a firecracker for being 11 months.

Has anyone ever heard of any of the Heinzl dogs being hugh.Back many years ago there was a hugh dog brung to this part of the country brindle in color and a true bulldog the sire true dog.When breed he would sometimes thorw big ones but also your average size dogs.I am not sure where he came from i think Texas but there was no papers with him and was told the he was pure Heinzl.I was just wondering if anyone had heard of any true big Heinzl dogs

 

Yup, occasionally there will be a big one.
