Animal Planet probes dogfighting culture

I was suprised, because I thought people get shot for pulling that type of crap down south. Especially if you choose to live deep in em woods you dont want nobody bothering you. Id shoot em

 

man i saw the animal planet special last night,what got me the most was,how ,now police can fight a dog to catch some one ,more tourture on the apbt,i saw chuck simmons hiding in bushes,a man has some bulldogs that was there evidence for going in his house, the bllod they found on the carpet,it tested pos. for bllod but they didnt say if it was hogblood or not like he said it was,they say it is better for them to kill the apbt because they love them but they said i didnt love mine,but we all know that is bull crap.sad day.

 

ever person on that video was at my house.i got my dogs back,by docementing them every couple of days,i have doc, for over 15 yrs now.they could not tell one lie about my dogs because i had doc,to prove everything,now they have dropped the dogfighting charges on randall thaxton and only chargin him with crulety of animals for having the dogs on chains with collars

jleigh- you say about time something to save these loyal dogs but just like the animal murders we just saw,police killing these dogs police fighting these dogs,why because they loved them,you have to be crazy if you thinh=k i belive they love these dogs i love my dogs,i dont kill my dogs, i dont try and kill your dogs,,this is the sickest thing i have seen the police do,it was against te law what they are doing.

Well..... I really dont know what to say about the show. i think that the cops are getting very educated on the sport, 3 years ago the cops didnt know what a "keep" meant or what the proper demensions were for a pit. The sad thing is that they show the public what a unprofessional yard looks like. the guy with the crates stacked in a basement is not a professional setup. And they kept showing the clips from off the chain, with the big as curs in a 8x8 pit. Overal, the show is going to bring alot of pressure on the sport. People also have to take in consideration how many suspected dog fighters they raid and how many of them are actual fighters. People are going to be flying off the deep end with what and who they think are dog fighters and what the public views as cruel. A dog on a chain is not cruel, a conditioned dog is not malnurished, and a person who owns a treadmill is not a dogfighter. But these are the things that show is telling the public to look for as clues or signs of fighting and think that is BS. At the end of the day, dogs are animals and should not be put before our more important issues, such as the murder rates going up in almost every city, or the fact that drugs are running rampid in our cities. Their wasting money on undercover cops trying to catch dog fighters, even if it was eliminated, which it wont, will actually make anyone any saver, absolutely not. So in my opinion, dogfighting should not be a first priority by any means, and i personally dont even think it should be on the priority list at all. There are ton of aother things this country should be worried about, and dog fighting isnt one of them. Sorry so many words.

 

im sure if al white knew simmons was in backyard he would have done something. if they cant get in your back yard they will fly overhead to get what they need to see, a yard full of dogs on chains and assumed they are matching dogs, and alot of it is cause of this stuff on t.v. and nosie neighbors watching and calling. they are invading every constitutional law with privacy, right to own what we want, and many others. if it is wrong for someone to own and fight dogs and im talking ole timers with respect and loved their dogs, and better condition than some house dog getting fat not doing anything, why is it right for AC,HSUS,ASCPA,Norrad & Assoc, to come in and take dogs and kill, one way or another they will be eliminated (AC, or idiot street ppl) so why not let owner keep dog. if it was for better of the dog, then they would not be put down.
to the ppl on this board that dont know better just cause some one owns a mill, flirtpole, springpole, break stick pulling harness, needles, antibiotics does not mean they are dog fighters, this is all part of conditioning for dog to keep healthy and live longer lives, if you own a yard full of dogs eventually you will have a yard accident and need breaksticks, and antibiotics for your dogs. what is funny is some of the AKC breeds use mills and do conditioning for their dogs, yes they do, cant really tell but they do, are they fighting their dogs.
and whoever posted earlier not american pull bull terrier no that is not name but shows how versatile this breed is at doing whatever you want it to do, and you need to give them a lil respect whether you like it or not, cause they are going to shows trying to put a different image of our breed to public, and money raised at these shows is going to legal services to help keep people from being accused and wrongly accused. and yes some of the dogs being pulled and called apbts are not true representation of the breed.

 

there was some bullshit in there like the underweight dogs but to say that the hanging shit rarely happens is not that far off. take into account the first two busts they were organized, but they were ghetto thugs. the sad thing is there are good people in the game and they label them all the same and it just aint true

 

i dont thin you know what entrapment means. cops go undercover as drug dealers all the time that aint entrapment. entrapment is talking them into commiting a crime that they otherwise would not have if it was not for your influence

 

they only rolled one dog and did not get money, these people are ignorant and do not really no what they are talking about when they say that people fight dogs to look tough or cool or they are sick its all who you look at some dogfighters are dispicable and some are gentlemen just like in anything else in life

To me that show illustrated how these people have created a industry to gainfully employ themselves at the expense of taxpayers, dog owners, and duped contributers to their unnecessary cause. I wonder what the annual combined income is of those clowns that harassed and invaded Wierdjack's home?

These people are the scum of the earth creating another fake crisis at the expense of our freedom and our tax dollars. Every statement and statistic made in that program was straight out of the ASPCA and the HSUS playbook, non of which can be backed up with common sense facts.

Anyone who buys this bullshit is naive and out to go ahead and open their checkbook to these criminals. I thought it was interesting that it was narrated in part by a convicted CRIMINAL John P Goodman.

The whole animal rights industry is based on a bullshit money grab scheme using the same model as climate change, global warming and all the other crap these fanatics dream up. All of this is done at the expense of the common man and those of us who own APBTs. We need to get changes in play that will end our need to constantly defend ourselves from these parasites. Wierdjack is right and the action he took saved the lives of his family and his dogs from these scum suckers. We need to make the law work for us and use it to protect our right to freedom and privacy to escape the constant pressure from these crooks.

The people in this country need to wake up and realize that the real crisis is allowing these nut jobs to carry on with these schemes. It's time they go out and get a REAL JOB doing something that will contribute to the tax rolls and humanity instead of continuing to pursue their social parasitic agenda.

 

The sad reality is that sensationalism sells. The "humane" organizations have plenty of money to buy politicians and entice corrupt law enforcement officials to get their piece of the pie. Love for animals in general and dogs in particular has nothing to do with why and how the AR operates. It's about money. They have plenty. And they feel they can ride the "pitbull" for plenty more. Where their isn't any necessity for them, they will use the media to create one. If they so cared about the dogs and I mean any dogs, when they saw a dog un improper shelter with no bedding they would give them proper shelter, a couple bales of wheat straw and educate the owners on proper housing of their animals. Instead, they would rather kidnap, kill, and destroy. As they are power hungry as well as money hungry. And with knowledge being power, they would like as many people to be without knowledge and as misinformed as possible. Therefore they have spread misinformation for over thirty years. Much if not all of their lies have been disproven so they take it up another notch. The government tolerates and even aids these organizations because it distracts most people from the real issues in this country and evil corrupt people in very high places. Our country has went from recession to depression and the "robber/barons" are getting richer and the "common man" and "common woman" are being preyed upon for publicity stunts and donation solicitation.

1. Dogfighing is cruel...HOW???? We watch boxing...we have MMA which is just as close to matching dogs as you can get.. Whats wrong wit it??? IF DONE PROPERLY of course.. not the media version that they love broadcasting on our televisions....Grey Hounds-RUN, Huskeys-PULL SLEIGHS, HELL..."PIT"bulls love to be pitted against a fellow dog..

Now, what some so-called dogmen do to their dogs after is cruel but they are so-called dogmen and thats their business.. Not saying I agree with what they do but we have to look at it like this.. 2. Police fighting dogs to catch "dogfighters"... hahaha WTF... What makes them so special that they can do what they want with their dogs that the average JOE cant???? In reality now folks... who are they helping by doing this???? Cant say the dogs because to deprive something of something it loves to do is cruel...I could see my tax dollars being better spent then to run their "YARD" or what have you....We living in the LAND OF THE FREE.. Cant you just feel the FREEDOM?????

It really hearts my heart the stupity of people and what they will believe.. Common Sense is a dying thing and its needed more now then ever..If you dont like what someone else it doing then dont be in the company of those people...People dont all have to agree on what YOU, ME, Or Whoever likes or think is "RIGHT"... Thats what makes up people. Its simple.. Dont like dogfighting..DONT FIGHT YOUR DOG....Dont like fords... DRIVE A CHEVY!!!... Dont like white bread.... GET SOME WHEAT...
